[Your POV]
We've been walking for about 30 minutes and we are on the other side of the walls but, Dema is still in plain view.

"Alright." Josh spoke as the group stopped and looked at the speaker. We were stopped in some shade, the sun is starting to rise.
"Pair up with someone. We'll have three groups," he said as he equally divided the group into thirds.
"Group one this way, second group this way and my group, follow me." He pointed different directions and somehow everyone knew where to go. Well I mean they've done this more times then I have. I mean this is the furthest I've gotten.

I follow Josh as I stick by his side as we treck straight.

And I will walk 500 miles just to..
"(Y/N)?" Josh asked.
"Hm?" I asked.
"What were you muttering?"
I chuckled, "Oh.. I didn't know I was saying that outloud... um it was a song that my elementary school used to make us run to."
Josh smiled as he put his bandanna back around his face. He's was pretty cute. "Oh cool. I know that song, I ran to that song as well, once upon a time."
I chuckled.

The walk was mostly silent, with some small talk but it's whatever, you know.

"So I overheard you and the other guy talking about a song you wrote?" I strike a conversation that's been itching at the back of my mind.
"Oh yeah, Tyler writes the songs. I just play the drums that he writes in. He's the real mastermind." Josh chuckled.
"Drums and singing? Damn, y'all are talented I smiled at Josh. Damn a man who can drum...

Soon a man named Jorden got Josh's attention, "Hey man, we saw some red a couple miles back."
That started to make everyone feel uneasy.
"Okay, just in case, let's pick up pace. everyone good to run?" He asked the group.
The walls of Dema looked like a small cottage from our distance.
Everyone agreed as we started our run.

And I will walk 500 miles- okay I'll stop.

The one time I looked back as I was running, the Dema walls couldn't be seen.
Shockingly, Josh and I's pace and stamina is the same. Damnn...

By the time we stop, the sun was starting to be overruled by the moon.
We stopped at a cave-like creation a few feet from the water's shore.
Josh started to tell people what to do. Some to get water, some to wash, get the food out, bla bla bla.
As he was managing things, a guy approached me.
"Hey, you're (Y/N), right?" He asked.
I nodded, "Yeah. I am."
"Cool. My name's Jordan."
"Nice to meet you Jorden." I smiled. He's not that bad looking.
"You too, you seem pretty chill."
I chuckled, "Thanks. Have you known Josh for long?"
Jorden gave me a chuckle which made me slightly confused, "I mean we've known each other for a few years you know? Ever since birth."
"Pardon?" I'm lost.
Jorden chuckled again, "He's my brother."
"Oohh." I laughed, "I'm so sorry."
"Don't be." He smiled at me.

Josh called out to his brother. I just kinda stood alone awkwardly when Jorden walked off.
I didn't know what to do.. I'm not the best around a random crowd of people.
I did see a group of four with hotdogs, one girl smiled and motioned for me to join them.
I figured what the hell, what's the worst that could happen?

As I walked over, a long blond motioned for me to sit next to her. "Hey, my name's Sammy." She smiled.
"Hey, I'm (Y/N)."
"This is Katrina." She pointed to another girl with medium brown hair. She had a yellow tee with yellow tape on her fingers. "That's Ben." She pointed to the man on Katrina's left. He had green clothes with yellow tape on his shoulders. Like the first dude I saw. "And that's Holden." Sammy introduced me to the other man with short brown hair. He had yellow tape on his wrist.
"You hungry?" Katrina asked.
I nodded, "Yeah. I can't remember the last time I ate."
That remark made all of them race to get me food.
"Girl! You gotta eat!" Sammy sounded a bit Italian.
I chuckled, "Yeah I probably should."

Soon, they were kind enough to get me a salad and a hotdog.
We chatted about what we used to do.
"I was a theatre actress." Sammy smiled.
"Wow! That is really cool! I wish I had the balls to do that." I smiled. She did have a performers confidence.
I found out Katrina was an automatic, Holden was a bartender and Ben ran tech for theatre performances.
"Well.. I.. was a (profession)." I told them.
"That's neat! And pretty handy." Ben smiled.

I also figured out Sammy and Ben were a thing and so were the other two. Oh let's give them ship names! Okay Benny and Hotrina haha I like it!

It got pretty dark as me and my new friends chatted and laughed together. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see Josh.
"Hey, what's up?" I smiled at him.
He smiled a sweet smile back at me, "Oh, nothing. Just making sure you're good."
"Thanks Josh."
"No problem." He paused and looked me in the eye. After a few seconds he looked at the rest of the group, "you guys as well. I want everyone safe and sound." He said as he walked away.
The girls wiggled their eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes, "What?"
"Josh so likes you!" Katrina laughed.
"No way, dude. Like he said, he wants everyone to be safe and sound."

Soon it was time for everyone to get some rest. Some rest.
I stayed close to Sammy and the rest of the group as we all got comfortable and ready for sleep.
"Goodnight, (Y/N)." Sammy said.
I smiled at her words. "Night, Sammy."

Not long after I uttered those words, I had an alright sleep ok the cold rocky surface of Earth.
