Confused Feelings

(Ashley's POV)

"No!" I snapped, yanking the comforter over my head and curling into a tighter ball. Something heavy got on the foot of my bed before I felt the blanket being torn away. I gasped and sat up quickly, glaring at Mike.

"Get uuuuup." He said, slouching down and hitting the bed with the side of his fist.

"But I don't wannaaaaa." I mimicked his annoying tone.

He frowned and folded his arms to glare at me. "You can't keep hiding. It's been like, a week. Face your problems!"

I flopped back down and pulled my pillow over my face and groaned. "But you don't get it!"

Mike scoffed and pulled the pillow from my face. "What do you mean? Golden Freddy kissed you and you've been acting like your in a love crisis ever since!"

I rolled my eyes at him and sighed. "See, you don't get it!"

"So what? He took your first kiss, no biggie. You're not a high schooler anymore, you're an adult."

"But that wasn't my first kiss, Mike." I moaned, rolling over and hiding my face into my bedsheets.

"Wait what? Who was it, I'll kill them!" He said. When I looked up he swung his arms around, trying to act like a ninja.

I slammed my face back into the mattress. "You'll hate me."

"What?"

I lifted my head. "You'll hate me."

"Why?" He asked, sitting down and crossing his legs next to me.

"Because it is someone you would definitely not agree with," I said, putting my head down and looking up at him.

He smiled and started playing with my hair. "I won't hate you! Unless it was Jeremy because we were dating for almost five years before you knew."

I chuckled and looked away with a frown. "Promise?" "Promise."

I took a deep breath. "It was Vincent!" I shut my eyes tightly, not wanting to see his reaction.

He was silent for a few moments, probably thinking before he spoke. "Who started it?"

I opened my eyes and looked at him confused. "Um...Vincent? Why does it matter?"

"Cause Ima go kill him a second time," Mike said, getting up and starting to walk out.

I jumped to my feet and grabbed his wrist, holding him back. "Please don't."

He turned back to me and his expression softened. "Is that what your problem has been? First him, then Gold?" I nodded and he sighed, leading me back to the bed and sitting down. "Well, who do you like more?"

Frowning with my brows furrowed, I got up to shut the door. "It doesn't matter, Mike."

"Yeah it does," he said, coughing.

"No, because the one I do said he hates me and that he'd never love me to my friends behind my back," I folded my arms and glared at him.

He raised an eyebrow. "Which one was that?"

"It doesn't matter."

"Yes, it does."
"No, it doesn't."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes!"
"No!"

"Yes, and I'm done arguing." He said, reaching for the doorknob. "Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to go and interrogate Golden Freddy."

"No don't! He can't know about this conversation! Please don't tell him," I pleaded, grabbing Mike's hand and swinging it around in fear.

"He'll find out either way, he can read minds." Mike shrugged.

I groaned and sat back down, burying my face in my hands. Mike rubbed my back for a few seconds before leaving, shutting my door behind him. After a few minutes, I sat up and groaned, staring at the ceiling.

"Well, I'm fucked," I said, getting up and walking out. I looked around to make sure Mike or Gold couldn't see me before going into (Y/N)'s room. I opened one of her drawers and pulled out her old sketchpad that she used to use. The (F/C) cover was battered and worn, but the (F/C) mechanical pencil was still in good used, along with the everyday yellow pencil and sharpener taped on the inside. I decided to flip through all her drawings to see what she had done that I hadn't seen. The first few pages were sketches from high school that I remembered her making in class.

Near the middle were the recent drawings. There were some of Chica and Freddy, along with Foxy and Golden. But there was more of Bonnie. I smiled as I flipped through them. Each one had a cute message on the bottom of it that spoke her thoughts from the current moment of her drawing.

When I leaned over to put the book back in the drawer, I noticed that there was a wrapped paper. I picked it up. It felt like a folder in wrapping paper, but on it was a small tag.

Bonnie

I smiled. Must be a present she'd gotten him before everything went south. I'd bring it to him next time I go to the Fright. I put the sketchbook away and stood, carrying the present back to my room and putting it on my nightstand for when I'd leave tonight.

I made my bed before I sat back down on it, thinking deeply. If Gold really meant that kiss...he wouldn't have said the things he did...right? I shook my head. What if he kissed me because he didn't know how to say it right though? I groaned and flopped back down onto my mattress, making it squeak.

Someone knocked on my doorframe. I looked up to see Golden Freddy. I blushed and looked away, frowning.

"What's up?"

He walked over and sat next to me with a sigh. "Please don't act like nothing is going on."

"I'm not. What's up." I said, trying to keep a straight face.

"Can we go out? We need to talk."
