Slamming down the laptop, I rolled out of the bed and marched back and forth, wondering what should I do?

I eagle-eyed the wooden door, burned holes on it— just gawking the door for a moment or maybe, I was waiting for another knock!

Was I waiting for a knock? And then I heard it, It was far from the soft hit because now, A soft knock has changed into an ear-piercing bang that made me come out of my trance.

Sh*t! What do I do now? Why is he even here? I thought as I paced around. Maybe he's here for a revenge for the last time when I had stuffed his mouth with pudding, No that can't be it!

The blatant hammering that can even wake the dead up, it didn't hear like banging Instead, it looked like my poor door might break down any minute now.

That can't happen either! My conservative family? What if they heard it? No! I should just open it before he breaks it. It is not a big deal. I'm exaggerating. Right?

I sighed hard and walked towards the door. Just open it already!

Finally, after so many 'whether I should or Not', I opened the door.

An audible gasp escaped from my mouth. The beast himself stood at my doorway who seemed ready to pounce on his prey  —Me!

A shiver ran through my body when I caught his coldest and angst slates on me.

He didn't say anything. He merely stood there glaring at me.

Avoiding his gaze, I scanned the outside hall and checked if anybody saw or heard him bang on the door but, Thankfully there wasn't anyone around.

I looked over at him again. He stared at me as he let himself inside my room as he owned it.

I shook my head in frustration and closed the door.

Turning around, I saw him standing by my bed, staring at me with a lordly smirk arched over his curvaceous jaw that has a stubble now.

"Care to explain, what were you doing?" His masculine and sharp voice came, making my eyes shot up towards him.

"I wasn't doing anything," I responded looking into those deep blazing eyes, that appears rather amused now.

In spite of his intimidating behavior, His presence did not make me feel jittery.

"Then, Why didn't you open the door?" He asked cockily.

"I did!" I said running my eyes on him from head to toe, to let him know that he's only standing here because I opened the door! Ha!

"Drop the attitude." He pointed his index at me "So, again, why didn't you open it early? what's so important you were doing that you couldn't open it fast?" His voice sharp and coarse. The lordly smirk was gone.

Okay! I was a little nervous now at his abrupt shift of tone. I opened my mouth to say something, but he cut me off.

"I texted you." He cocked his head to my phone.

Gulping, I nodded "Yes, You did."

He glared at me for a split second then, he nodded back and just stared at me, apparently waiting for me to explain.

"Lets just f–forget this, I opened the door and you're standing here, okay?" I stammered and raised my eyebrows questioningly.

He nodded his head after staring me for a split second. I felt myself nodding back as I took a relieving breath.

He feasted his eyes all over my room, he observed, No—Actually, he inspected every itsy bitsy element in my room. To some extent, It made me feel self-conscious and uncomfortable.
