If He would Just Notice! (Colossus x Reader)

Negasonic realized that (Y/n) was giving Colossus the cold shoulder. She noticed that the girl no longer wanted to go on missions with him, well, at least the two she had been called to, didn't speak when he was present, and whenever she had the option, left the room where he was present. Ellie considered talking to her, but tried to ignore the subject, letting it go for the first day, but on the second, it was impossible not to feel the anger the girl felt. Her way toward the giant had gotten worse, she no longer looked at him and when they spoke, she just ignored him. It didn't even look like she was in love, it seemed like the only thing she felt for him was hatred.

Just two days after Deadpool's arrest, (Y/n) was still restless. She was in her room, lying on her bed, her mind still on the mercenary. Was he all right? Had he already died? She tried not to think about the worst case, but it was hard. There was a knock at the door, she responded muttering just a 'come in' without animation. Still looking up at the ceiling, she knew that the one who entered the room had been Colossus, she had no way of not noticing his noisy, heavy footsteps. She kept her eyes on the ceiling, but when the man got close enough that she couldn't help looking at his face, she turned sideways on the bed, staring at the wall, her back to Colossus.

The giant sighed, sitting on the bed, very close to the girl's back. When he sat down, the bed sank, causing Colossus's back to touch hers. (Y/n) couldn't help the burning that rose to her cheeks, even though she was angry with the man, her heart still beat faster when she was near.

"I wanted you to know that Wade escaped." Colossus said, his gaze on the floor, as if embarrassed to say that "And... I tried to talk to the supervisors of the prison, but I could not take him out by myself, there was nothing I could do."

The man expected some response or reaction from her, but it seemed that, knowing that he had tried to help Wade, didn't change much in her head, as she didn't move an inch. He sighed again, leaning on the bed to get up, but the woman grabbed him by one of his arms, pulling him back. The giant dropped his head into the girl's lap, which was now facing him. (Y/n) took the courage in the thousandth of a second when the man fell on her thighs and kissed his forehead, holding Piotr's head in place. She spent a few seconds like this, trying to take as long as possible, feeling the heat emanating from him, and slowly pulled away, looking into his eyes when she said:

"Thank you." She smiled slightly, stroking the metallic hair under her fingers.

Colossus froze, his mouth slightly open as it happened. He didn't think she would accept the apology, and he didn't think she would do it all. The two continued to stare at each other, Piotr still in shock and (Y/n) flushing at the man's gaze. The moment the giant thought about the kiss, he looked at the woman's mouth and, as if by magic, the two slowly approached, their looks more passionate than embarrassed. They were about to kiss, but as they both closed their eyes a noise at the door startled them, making them look where the sound was coming from.

"(Y/n), I wanted to..." Quicksilver looked at the situation and gave a shy smile, scratching the back of his neck with his hand "Nevermind!" He said, leaving faster than he had come.

The two were still paralyzed looking at the door, (Y/n) kept her eyes on the door because she didn't want to look at Colossus, and he didn't take his eyes off the door thinking about what he was about to do with his former student. Suddenly, Colossus was pushed forward, forcing his body to sit again. He looked at the woman, as if wondering what was going on, but she was already getting out of bed, putting on some pair of shoes.

"W-well... I'll go see what he needs from me." she said, practically running out of the room.

The giant sighed, placing his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. What was she doing to his feelings?

A few days passed and even though Colossus apologized, she couldn't look him in the face. By God! What would he have to do to get her back to normal? He decided that it would be best to keep it quiet. If she needed time to understand everything that had happened, it was fine. But... What if she didn't want to talk to him about the kiss? While he had nothing to worry about, he could find problems in less than seconds. He continued to ignore his mind, which ran thousands of miles per hour, and walked back to his destination, which was the living room.

And there she was, the girl who didn't get out of his thoughts, talking to Quicksilver. They both seemed to be entertained by something on television as they chatted happily about what was on the electronic device.

Grateful for not being noticed, he stood in the living room door, listening to their lively conversation. The news caught the pair's eye, making them both watch the television again. It talked about Deadpool and some accidents with two mutants. On camera filming, Juggernaut and Russell were creating discord, but it looked like there was a man wanting to kill one of the mutants. The video showed Deadpool attacking the man and Russell attacking Deadpool with Juggernaut. How this boy had managed to convince the giant was a mystery, but he could be useful later to arrest the mutant again. The footage caught the man more closely and it looked like one of his arms were made of metal, along with part of his face that made his eye red. Surveillance camera video catches the man turning to the camera and staring at it before firing at the object.

The moment the man looked at the camera, (Y/n) became paralyzed, her mouth slightly opened. She got up quickly and gripped her chest, feeling her heart race abnormally. She felt like she had a connection with the man, she felt her vision getting blurry and sat down again. Quicksilver put his hand on the girl's back, laughing with his mouth open, tears streaming from his eyes.

"Do you have a fetish for men in silver?" The boy laughed even more at his own joke.

Colossus, who was behind them, felt his heart race. But he stood there watching their interaction.

"I... I had a strange feeling when I saw him." She said, still clutching her chest, but now looking into the void "It wasn't a good feeling nor a bad one, but it felt like I knew him."

The three of them found the situation strange, but they let it go. It could be just a deja vu. Colossus returned to his activities and Quicksilver continued his day like any other. However, (Y/n) couldn't get that man out of her mind. Where was he from? Had he a connection to Deadpool? Was he a mutant that had turned metal, like Piotr? Little did she know that her questions would be answered the next day.
