If He would Just Notice! (Colossus x Reader)

After some days helping the kids get used to the accommodation, both Colossus and (Y/n) were exhausted. She felt sorry for the giant, since he also had to teach classes during the day. Usually in those moments, the girl would either bother Ellie or ask Cable about how life was in the future. But, today was Saturday, so there were no classes for the students and there wasn't any kid left to find a room or bring their things to their right places. So, she thought it would be a good idea to watch a movie in her room, with Colossus, alone. But that was just a thought, since Quicksilver heard her talking with the giant and started getting into the conversation, even asking if Ellie, Yukio and Cable wanted to watch too.

And that's why Colossus was fighting for a place beside her and Quicksilver. Cable was already seated beside the woman, his arm around the back of the sofa, almost covering the female beside him, laughing softly, but victoriously. The giant thought about giving the guy a mouthful, but since he was new at the mansion and (Y/n) seemed to be fond of him, he decided it wouldn't be a good idea.

Though Pietro could give him a break. She seemed to notice the struggle her "boyfriend" was going through and decided to help.

"Leave him be, Pietro." she said, extending her hand and grabbing Colossus' wrists and bringing him close to the spot she reserved for him "You're just trying to make him uncomfortable."

"That was the whole point, baby." he responded, showing her his tongue, then taking a place beside Ellie and Yukio on the floor.

(Y/n) sat cross legged on the sofa, her hands fiddling with the three movies she had with her. Romance, Action and Horror. First option was out of question, Yukio and Ellie would start kissing and she wouldn't be able to do it with Colossus, not because she didn't want it, she wanted it, but because the giant would be embarrassed and wouldn't let her do it. Second option would be just as boring, they had action everyday so why bother watching a movie doing what they normally did? And so, it came to the third option, Horror seemed to be the perfect option, Ellie liked it, Yukio wanted to try and Cable was neutral to anything they would put on the TV. Colossus tried to talk everyone into watching the Action one, but nobody was willing to have their ears talked off in the middle of the movie.

The woman stood up and put the movie on, coming back to sit in the same place, leaning a little into Colossus, who tensed a little, but relaxed right after. He wanted to put his arm around her, but didn't, in respect for the people around them. (Y/n) hoped that he would drop his facade in the middle of the movie since she would start to fake little jumpscares. But that plan went to shit when she discovered that the man was scared himself. The time was coming for her to fake the flinch moment and hold onto him, but he actually acted faster than her, he jumped on his seat and got closer to the girl. She looked at him, as if asking what happened, he looked at her and tried to compose himself. She got closer to his ear and whispered:

"Are you afraid?"

"Just little uncomfortable." he responded, trying to continue watching the movie, but he continued flinching.

After another fifteen minutes of this, she asked another question to Colossus.

"Do you want to hold my hand?" she said, this time whispering almost on his neck, making sure to blow as much air from her mouth as possible, she could see him shiver from that.

She extended her hand, holding it in the air for the giant to take.

"I'm fine-" just as he said that, a jumpscare appeared on the screen making a loud sound.

Colossus grabbed her hand, his grip tightening and loosening right after. She laughed softly, her fingers intertwining with the giant's. Cable was very aware of what was happening between the two, his mind spinning around the fact that the man was touching his girl, his wife. He let out a sigh, thinking of something that could take the girl's attention from Colossus to himself. Then, lots of suggestions appeared in his mind. He knew exactly what she hated and what she liked, what angered her and what made her happy. He has all the advantages given to him on a silver plate, he just had to use it at the right time.
