"Leira?"

"No. Its Elaine."

"Huh? Why is she texting you in the middle of the night?"

"She needed some help with-"

"No. Thats not the point, work can wait." Kai protested as he drink his beer.

"Why are you so worked up?" Seungwoo had to laugh at his friend. Kai made a face at him.

"You know," Kai started.

"I'm surprised you guys are still together and even live together."

"Hm?" Seungwoo hummed as he sips his beer.

"I thought she's the type that would get bored when their boyfriend doesn't give her enough attention."

"She's not like that."

"I know. Its just that you are kind of difficult to handle with that quietness." Kai said pointedly making Seungwoo raised his brows.

"ouch?"

"When she approached you, I thought you were just being nice but you really do like her huh?"

"Ok, Kim Jongin. Lets go home. You're already tipsy. We have to go to work tomorrow. A doctor, yes?" Seungwoo paid the bartender and slapped Kai's shoulder.

"Woo, you booboo the fool."

The door unlocked and Seungwoo noticed that the light at the living room was on.

"Leira?" He thought to himself as he stepped in with half asleep Kai, following behind him.

"Didn't you said that she's going to spend the night there?" Kai said in hushed tone. Seungwoo ignored him and saw her on the sofa.

Leira was fast asleep with her head on the side table. He noticed there's something beside her head and a note with it. Curious, he took the note and Kai peered over to see what was written on it.

"Today is your anniversary?!" Kai almost said loudly as he balked at his friend who was looking clueless as ever.

Seungwoo made an apologetic face as he looked to the bucket full of souvenirs and a little bit of everything you could find in Jeju Island. He lift her slowly and carefully bring her to their shared bedroom, tucking her in.

"I'm sorry." He said as he kissed her forehead. Kai leaned to the door frame, looking at the couple with blank eyes.

The latter slowly close the door and ready to face the judging face of Kai.

"I know what you're going to say-"

"I don't understand how am I suppose to learn how to love by living with you two." Kai said pointedly. Seungwoo sighed and just pulled his friend to the study so they won't woke Lei up.

"There's no excuse, I know but the hospital has been hectic lately-"

"When does a hospital ever been peaceful, Woo?" Kai rubbed his temple and sat on the chair in front of the desk. Seungwoo sat on his chair.

"It just slipped out of my mind, Kai." Seungwoo said in finality. His smile had long gone and just looked out to the window.

"I'm going to sleep. Don't wake me up tomorrow." Kai said heading to the door.

"We're not in college anymore, of course I won't."

Kai opened the door harshly and he nearly bumped to Leira when she just about to knock the door. He could see the guilt on her face clearly. Her long hair tousled a bit that flow down to her elbows. He looked away and just brush passed her, walking to his room.

Leira looked at him questioningly before looking back to the man who she had been nervous to face.

"Can I come in?" She asked softly, voice barely came out. Seungwoo nodded with a smile and waved her over. She closed the door and went to him timidly, playing with her fingers.

"Han, I'm so sorry."

"No, actually I...forgot about it too." Seungwoo said finding her eyes. Leira blinked for a few times and let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh god, I was so nervous thinking that you would be upset since I forgot. Heck, I was going to text you earlier but I got nervous and ended up waiting for you to come back."

"Nervous? Why?"

"I don't know, maybe you would be disappointed or upset or even be mad at me. You are unpredictable ya know." She said sheepishly and frowned a bit before continuing. "And I know you have been busy at the hospital so its totally natural to forget about it."

"Thank you for understanding but I won't be mad at you, Lei." Seungwoo smiled softly and pulled her hand to him.

"Is now the perfect time to say Happy Anniversary even though its the day after?" Leira asked as she stood in between of his legs as they stare at each other.

"Happy anniversary, Lei." He chuckled. Leira smiled softly and put her arms around his shoulders, giving him a hug.

"Quick question." She said as she put her chin on his head.

"Hm."

"How many years have we've been dating?"

"...I'm not sure either."

"Being a doctor really tires you out huh. Come on lets sleep. You have to wake up in another 3 hours."
