Day two of The Challenge:

Water balloons….never a good idea. Whatever. There is no way I’m going to let yesterday’s challenge stop me from succeeding. That boy will love me weather he likes it or not.

My new idea: makeup. Mother keeps lots! I’ll just put on some of hers and boom. I’ll be fabulous. I’ll be irresistibly pretty and any boy I want will be drawn to me.

This morning I put on makeup while getting ready for school. I found a pallet of different flesh tones. A huge fluffy brush came with it. I put some on my forehead and chin.

Then I found a long thin container with a super weird brush attached to the lid of it. It’s spiky and black. I used that for my eyebrows. It made them darker and stick up weirdly…but I guessed that was the style.

Next I picked up a small cylinder-shaped object. It’s simple and plastic. I took off the lid with a pluck sound and spin the bottom to rise up a stick of pink. I apply it to my eyelids. For a more dramatic effect, I also put it underneath where my eye bags are.

Now I just need something for my lips. I open up a pallet of lots of pretty colours. Blues, purples, oranges, greens, and reds. This will be perfect! With the Q-top sized brush, I make my top lip red and my bottom lip green.

For the fun of it, I draw hearts all over my face with the other colours. I put it all away and look into the mirror one last time before heading out. I look stunning.<3

Today at school Penny kept telling me I look like a clown, but I know she’s just jealous. My crush will looovee me!

At lunch, after I ate, I walked to the place where my crush hangs out with all of his friends. They were just chilling, having a quiet conversation. One was on a cell phone.  I walked up to them confidently with my hands on my hips.

“Hey fellas, what’s up?”

They all looked up at me and stared for a moment. My crush fled the scene while his friends stayed and laughed their heads off. They started rolling and banging the floor with their hands just to make it seem more hysterical.

I went after my crush. When he noticed I was following him, he started walking faster so I did too. Then he started running. So did I.

“Come back here and love me!” I screamed as my feet pounded against the hard floor. We dashed down the hallways for a long time. Finally he slipped away into the boy’s washroom.

That won’t stop me, I thought.

I followed him in. It didn’t end well.
