Another exhange (Sketchxreader)

I was enjoying talking to Elijah. He is quite funny and playfull. We were busy playing Would you rather, Ethan and Denis joining but only for a moment at a time.

"Would you rather continue your life or restart it?" Elijah asked me. I went blank and just stared into his eyes. I entered a void of hyperventilating, warm hearts and squealing. I kinda liked it here. I felt an upwelling rise. I guess this is how some girls are when they think of their crushes. I wanted to swoon  over something but I wasn't sure what when I heard Elijah's laughs echo in my ear. I felt my cheeks get warm.

"Y/n? Y/n? You alright?" Elijah asked, waving his hand infront of my face. I came back to Earth and realised that I staring into Elijah's eyes. "Y/n?" Elijah asked me again. "Mmm? Sorry Elijah. I out zoned. I would continue with my life." I said. He looked at me and smiled. "I would too." He said, looking at me. I could feel my face burn so I asked,"Do you want anything to drink?" "Yes please." Elijah said. "You guys?" I asked Ethan and Denis. "Sure!" Denis said. "Can I have water please?" Ethan asked, who was now playing. I nodded and walked into the kitchen and got glasses out.

Elijah p.o.v
I took the pillow that I was laying on and covered my face. "Oohh...what now Elijah?" Denis asked. I pulled the pillow off my face. "What?" I asked. "What now? You do that when you not sure what to do." Denis said. "Oh you know...I am just waiting for Y/n." I said. Ethan looked at me for a few seconds, smirking at me before looking back at the TV. "No Ethan." I said. "What?" Denis and Ethan asked. I shook my head and heard Y/n ask," Dr Pepper or Mountain Dew?" "Dr Pepper please!" I said. "Me too!" Denis said. I heard a cap open and heard her pour the drinks into a glass. She came in with our drinks and quickly went back inside and came out with two glasses of water and handed one to Ethan. "Thanks." He said. She smiled and sat next to me again. I smiled at her and she smiled back warmly.

Eventually, most of the brownies were finished and Amie called Ethan. "Hey Elijah. I gotta get Amie. Her car wheel popped." He said. "Again?" I asked. "Yep. That's what I love about her. Always manages to pop her wheel." Ethan said. "Well...I guess we better get home. Bye guys." I said, standing up. Denis waved and Y/n gave Ethan and I hugs before walking to the door with us.

Y/n stood by the door and watched Ethan pull away and waved one last time before we left. Now I am bored. Yay.

Y/n p.o.v
I went back inside and closed the door. Denis was in the kitchen getting him a chocolate. "Two more days till school!" He said. I smiled. "You don't seem to thrilled." I said. "Why would I be?" He asked. "Oh right. You have been at this school already." I said. "Only for two weeks. Then we got we got a week off for some reason." He said. "Really?" I said. He just chuckled and switched the television off. "I am gonna take a nap." He said. "Yes. Forget about school for now." I said. He rolled his eyes and grinned before going upstairs.

I plopped down onto the couch and felt my phone vibrate. I took it out and saw a message.

Elijah:I am bored.

Me:Why? You just left not to long ago.

Elijah:Ethan went to pick Amie up and I didn't want to go with.

Me: Okay? Why?

Elijah: Idk. Just didn't want to.🙂

Me: 😂Okay.

Elijah: You wanna go to Taco Bell? Mmmm?

Me: Lol. Sure.

Me: But I don't know where it is.

Elijah: I know the way like the back of my palm😎

Me:I am sure the staff know your name already😏

Elijah:Yea, infact they do. They say,"Hey Elijah! The usual?" It's cool.

Me: Okay...

Elijah:☺ On my way! You just cant tell my mom because I am not supposed to have...so shh!

I went upstairs and sat on my bed. I pulled out my phone and just put it on my bed and laid back and relaxed.

My eyes were getting heavy then I heard a door knock. I then felt my phone vibrate next to me. I opened it and saw Elijah texting me.

Elijah: Don't open! FBI is there!

Me: Really Elijah? 😏

Elijah: Yes! I can see them infront of your door!

Me: And why should I not open the door for them?🤔

Elijah: Because!

Me: Mmyea... you do realise that I have a bedroom that can see the drive way and I just happen to see your car parked there.🙂

Elijah:....that's not my car😶

Me: Wow Elijah. I can see you!

I sent that message then saw Elijah's head jerk up and looked at the window. I saw him smirk and then used his hand to gesture me to come. I gave thumbs up and went downstairs.

I opened the front door and Elijah was standing there. "Hey. Again." He said. "Hey." I said. "You ready?" Elijah asked. I nodded and followed him to his car.

I got in the passenger seat and Elijah sat next to me. "Taco Bell!" He said. He started the car and pulled out the drive way and off we went to get Taco Bell.
