Another exhange (Sketchxreader)

Alex ripped the duct tape off from our legs at the same time and I screamed and began jumping up and down. Elijah was running around in circles and screaming too. "That hurts so much!" I said. I sat down next to Sub and looked at the area where the tape was. The skin was blood red and hairless. Elijah's leg also looked like that. "Get these two something cold!" Noah said. Girls scurried to get something cold. Elijah sat next to me and said,"Dude. I am never doing that again." "Nah uh." I said. "Can't wait to show the girls this." Denis said. "That looks really painful." Alex said and Sub nodded. "Wow Alex. Thanks for telling us that." I rolled my eyes. He grinned and then we saw two girls coming with ice packs. They handed it too us and we placed it on our skin. "Ooh! That feels nice." I said. Elijah nodded. "Never again." He said. "Never again."

Y/n p.o.v
"Here is your schedule. Feel free to ask me anything." Kimberly said after showing me the whole school. "Thanks alot Kimberly." I said. She smiled before coughing. She looked at her hand and her smile faded. She reached into her pocket with her other hand and took out a tissue and wiped her hand. "It was nice meeting you, Y/n. I have to go now...bye." She said, scurrying off. I watched her run off. I couldn't even say bye because she ran away so quickly. I hope she's fine.

I looked at my schedule and saw I had Mathematics. I remembered where my locker was and got my books. I heard laughing then heard Denis ask,"How is it so far?" I turned around and said,"It seems like a wonderful school. What class do you have?" "English." "Pity. I have Mathematics." I said. "I HAVE MATHS!" Elijah said, running besides Denis. "I....I have Maths." He said, out of breath. I frowned at him. He looked uncomfortable. I studied him and saw he had a red patch on his leg. "What happened there?" I asked. He looked at the red then said,"It was a dare. Ethan and I had to have Alex pull duct tape off our legs." "Ouch. I can imagine how that felt." I said. Elijah nodded. Denis was about to say something when the bell rang. "Well...see you guys when I do." He said. I waved and he walked off. Elijah quickly got his books and I decided to wait for him since I am going to the same class and he's right here. "Thanks." He said. I nodded and we walked to our class.

Elijah went and opened the door for me but before I could enter, Cayla rushed past me, pushing me away in the process. Elijah let go of the door and grabbed my hand before I hit the ground and we both heard a thud. He pulled me up right and we saw Cayla busy rubbing her forehead and the closed door. I wanted to snicker because she hit her forehead with the door but, I don't want to start anything. She gave me a glare and gave a flirty smile to Elijah before pushing the door open and entering, closing the door behind her. As soon as the door closed, we burst into laughter. "Did you see that look she gave me?" I laughed. He nodded. We couldn't stop laughing and we were nearly on the ground because we were laughing so much, I am not sure why we were laughing, it wasn't that funny, but it felt good.

"Elijah Best! Get into class. You...you too!" A man said. "Sorry Mr Denver." Elijah said. "Apologies sir." I said. Elijah and I stopped laughing and Elijah opened the door and we entered the classroom, Elijah entering after me. He grabbed my hand but quickly loosend his grip and moved his hand up to my wrist. He pulled me over to the back of the class. I sat down and saw Noah getting closer to me. Elijah saw that too and plopped down in the seat next to me. There was two other girls on the left side of me and Noah just looked at Elijah. He saw the seat infront of Elijah wasn't taken and took it. Cayla was sitting right infront of me. Well, Maths shall be quite entertaining.

"Aina! Look. That's the girl they talking about." I heard someone whisper. I looked to my left and saw one of the girls with brown hair busy whispering to the girl with black hair. The girl, who I am assuming is Aina, looked at me and smiled, but it seemed like she didn't want me to hear the other girl. She whipped her head back to the girl and whispered,"Isabel. She heard you." I was not sure what that was about but I didn't want to make a fuss about it. Elijah looked at me then said,"Some advice for you, don't zone out, Mrs Tanver is quite strict when it comes to paying attention." "Thanks."

"Good morning class! As you all know, we have exchange students here. We have a exchange student from Britain,
Y/n  L/n. Can you please stand." Mrs Tanver said. I stood up and I could feel the peoples eyes burn into me. I could even feel Elijah looking at me. I turned my head and he was looking at me, smirking. "Where do you stay Y/n? In Britian." Mrs Tanver asked. "I live in London." I said. "Wonderful. You may sit down and we can start with the day." I sat down quickly. "Did you enjoy that attention?" He whispered. "Yes. I felt so happy." I whispered back, rolling my eyes. He snickered.

"I want to see the homework on my desk, tommorow." Mrs Tenver said as we gathered our stuff. The whole of Mathematics, Cayla gave me dirty looks  then twirling her hair and winking at Elijah.

"I need to go to the restroom. Wait for me by the lockers?" Elijah asked. I grinned. "Sure."

I walked to my locker and got out my History books. When I closed the locker door, the girls who sat next to me in Mathematics stood there. "Hi. I am Aina. She's Isabella. I am sorry if we made you  feel uncomfortable in Maths." Aina said. "Oh. That's fine." I said, smiling. "What do you feel about the rumors?" Isabella asked. "What rumors?" I asked. "You haven't heard? People are saying that you're gonna use Elijah and his friends to become popular." Isabel said. "What?"
