Kirito x Reader ~ Virtually With Him

Kirito's POV~

     I was walking in town, making my way to (y/n)'s house when I over heard a group of people talking about some kind of festival being held later tonight, Christmas Eve, in the town square. I ran to (y/n)'s grinning like crazy. I walked up the stairs and knocked on the wooden door. After two knocks the door opened and (y/n) was standing in the doorway. She was wearing a white sweater with black fitted skinny jeans, her hair was curled. 'She looks so...' "...cute" I looked at her face and noticed it was crimson red. I realized what I'd just said and my on face grew hot. "C-C-Come in!" she stuttered. "A-actually I originally came by to come and hang out, " I said, the words tumbling out of my mouth. Then I heard people talking in town and wanted to ask you something..." "Well...what is it?" (y/n) asked, smiling.

Your POV~

     "W-Would you like to go to the Christmas festival with me tonight?"

     My face started to grow warmer and warmer. "Y-Y-Yes!" I replied, flustered. 'Smooth (y/n), smooth...' I thought while face-palming in my mind. "Okay, I'll be here at about 10. See you then!" Kirito said as he ran down the stairs.

Kirito's POV~

     'She said yes!' I thought. I fist-pumped the air, grinning wildly as I ran down the street.

Your POV~

     I closed the door and rushed to my room. "WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR?!" I shouted as I searched my inventory. '(F/n), she has to have something I can wear tonight...' I thought as I messaged her.

     'Sup (F/n)? Kirito asked me to the Christmas festival tonight on floor 49 in the town square. I was hoping you have something I can wear tonight. If you do please send it to me before 10! I hope I'll see you and Klein there tonight too~!

     I pressed send. A few minutes of stressing later, I got a message back from (f/n):

     Don't worry, I got your back! This better be what you where tonight, hope you like it! Also Klein said he wants to go too so we'll see you there!

     I pressed the inventory button and saw a new item at the top. I stood in front of the mirror and dragged it onto the mannequin figure on the clothes tab in my menu. After a light blue flash of light I looked at myself in awe. I was wearing a (f/c) strapless, knee-high dress with sleeves that started at my forearm and stopped a bit farther than my wrist. A thin white strap wrapped around my midsection with a beautiful rose attached on the side of it. On my feet were plain, white flats. 'I defenitly have to thank (f/n) for this tonight...' I put my (h/l) (h/c) hair up in a pony tail then curled it. I kept my bangs down and two pieces of curled hair that framed my face. I put on some simple white pearl earrings to match 'I forgive you for the Asuna incident! Your the most best friend I could ever ask for (f/n)!' I thought as I smiled in the mirror.

---10:00, Christmas Eve---

      At exactly 10, Kirito knocked on my door. I opened it to see him standing there in a black button up shirt, black jeans and shoes, and a white tie. His cheeks were dusted with pink as he saw me. "(Y-y/n), you look amazing!" He exclaimed. My face grew warm. "T-thank you, you look amazing too!" I said, smiling at him. He smiled back and held out his hand. I gladly took it in mine and soon had my arm wrapped with his as we made our way to the festival.

---Floor 49, Town Square---

     Everything was covered in lights. In the center of the plaza was a giant decorated Christmas Tree. There were tons of other couples there, chatting to one another. As went entered, we spotted Klein and (f/n). Klein had on a fancy white shirt, black pants and shoes, and a red bow tie. In his red hair was that bandanna he always wore. (F/n) was in a beautiful, thin straped, knee-high dress. It had a purple top, and a thick white band of cloth wrapped around her mid-section. The bottom was flowing black silk and she had on white sandles. Her hair was in pig-tails, a white flower-crown rested on the top of her head. "(Y/N)!!" she called. "You look amazing!" we said in union, hugging each other. "Thank you sooo much (f/n)~!!" I told her. "Didn't I tell you I had your back~!" she said to me winking. We all started talking to one another when a slow song came on. "(Y/n), would you like to dance with me?" Kirito said rubbing the back of his neck blushing, which I always thought was adorable. "Of course I would!" I giggled as I took his hand.

     After we danced we went to a balcony and looked out over the square. The stars sparkling above us. "Hey (y/n)...?" "Hmm...?" "There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now..." Kirito said. I looked over and saw his cheeks were red.

      "I-I want us to be more than friends from now on..."

     My eyes grew wide, my face growing hotter by the second as he stared at me, smiling. I nodded and smiled back at him. Then he did something I would have never expected. He pulled me close to him, our noses about to touch. Then whispered, "(Y/n), never leave my side..."

      His soft lips pressed against mine. My eyes were wide, my face red, but wanting this to happen more than anything in this world, I kissed him back. After what seemed like forever, we pulled away from each other. "I promise...I'll never leave you Kirito..."

(F/n)'s POV~

       I took Klein with me up to the balcony following after Kirito and (y/n). As I peeked around the corner, a huge smile spread across my face. I watched until they were done and as they were looking into each others eyes I came from around the corner. "Finally! It's about time~!" I said to them, hands on my hips. Both of their faces turned bright red. "(F-F-F/N)!!" They shouted in union. "Merry Christmas, you love birds~!! Come on Klein, let's leave these two alone~!" I cooed. I looked behind me and saw Klein giving them a thumbs-up while I dragged him away grinning.

Your POV~

     After they had left, Kirito and I started laughing. I felt something cold land on my shoulder. Kirito and I looked up at the sky as snowflakes fell one by one. We looked at each other smiling.

     "I love you (y/n)..." Kirito said as his lips met mine once more.
