Kirito x Reader ~ Virtually With Him

Your POV~

     Today Kirito and I were going to the Forest of Wondering. 'Today we're going to save Pina!' I thought as I wrapped a towel around me and combed my wet tangled hair. I opened the door as I was about to start walking through the living room to get to the bedroom. I starting humming 'Crossing Fields', Sword Art Online's first opening, as I exited the bathroom.

Kirito's POV~

     I knocked on the door to (y/n)'s house. I heard her inside but no one answered the door. So I pulled out the key (y/n) had given me awhile ago, unlocked the door, and stepped inside.

~Flashback~

     I was waiting outside, waiting for (y/n). "Just take this." (y/n) said, throwing me a key as she exited the front door. "What's this for?" "It's a key to my house. I'm giving it to you so that if I'm busy and can't come to the door, you can let yourself in and make yourself comfortable while you wait." she told me and smiled. "It's better than sitting out here." She giggled.

~End of Flashback~

     Just as I entered (y/n) house, I looked up and saw her standing there. Her wet, (h/c) hair tumbling over her shoulder. She was only wrapped in a towel. Our eyes met and I could feel my face growing hot, her face was already a crimson red. "Kirito...?" (y/n) said in an eerily calm voice. "M-Mmhm." "What are you doing here?" She questioned. "I-I wanted t-to know if y-y-you wanted to g-go to the Forest of Wandering with me..." There was a pause. "I swear I d-didn't know you would only be wrapped in t-towel!" I explained.

Your POV~

     Kirito's nose started to bleed. There was another long pause. "YOU PERVERT!!" I screamed as I slapped him across the face, sending him tumbling through the door. I slammed it shut and ran into my bedroom. 'Why did I ever think it was a good idea to give him a key to my house?'

---Floor 35, Mishe~ Forest of Wandering---

     We were walking through The Forest of Wandering when Kirito gave me a necklace with a black pendant key on the end of it. My eyes flashed with fury. "I-It's not because of the shower incident this morning!!" Kirito said, waving his hands around wildly. "It's because y-you saved me from the true horror of this death game...you 'locked' those feelings away and 'opened' up my heart, letting me see the good that came out of this world...I met you..." Kirito said blushing. He threw in the puns, nudging me when he said them, because he knew it would make me laugh. Of course it did, it reminded me of (f/n) and her puns that always made me laugh at how stupid and clever they were. I accepted the necklace and put it around my neck after I hugged him.

     Then we heard a scream and I raced off, dragging Kirito with me. We were to late. Silica was already on the ground crying with Pina's feather in her hands. We killed the Drunk Apes and told her that we could go to floor 47 and revive Pina within the time of three days. We headed back to town, ran into Silica's "fan-boys" and Rosilia. We walked right past Rosilia and checked into the inn. We ate the cheesecake Silica told us about while Kirito explained that some people didn't take this world seriously and became PK-ing criminals. That's when Silica grabbed Kirito's hands. 'This is way more awkward than it was in the episode...' I thought. Unfortunatly, Kirito wanted to "save col" so we only got 2 rooms. One for Silica and one two-bedded room for Kirito and I. When I confronted Kirito about this he said that I would be jealous if he slept Silica. I started to blush. "I'm joking, it's because I've known you longer." and with that he walked over to Silica's room to explain what was going to happen tomorrow. I walked out of the room and saw the 'cloaked stranger' that was trying to listen to Silica and Kirito's conversation. He saw me and ran away. I was about to knock on Silica's door and tell them about it, when Kirito opened it and shouted in my face, "Who's ther-" he shouted then realized it as me and apologized. Then I entered the room and we talked about what was going to happen.

     In the morning, I woke up and stretched out my arms. I accidently hit Kirito in the eye as he was getting up and made him yelp. "I'm soo sorry!!" I told Kirito over and over again.

---Floor 47: Floria---

     We entered the flower garden and Silica looked around in awe. She looked around then turned to us and asked, "Are you two a couple?" Kirito and I looked at each other then at Silica and back at each other, our faces red. Silica just laughed and we made our way to the Hill of Memories.

     Silica was pulled into the air by that flower-monster enemy and shouted at Kirito to save her but don't look. I looked over and saw Kirito in battle position staring up at Silica. "She said not to look!!" I yelled at him, punching him in the stomach which sent him flying through the field. Silica cut her way free and killed the monster, blushing. We ran over to Kirito and I repeatedly apologized to him for the second time that day.

      After we finally made our way to the flower and started to head back to town we ran into Rosalia and her guild of orange players 'Titan's hand'. Kirito opened the portal and sent them to jail in the Black Palace. After that we made our way back to town. We entered Silica's room and watched as the dew from the flower dropped onto 'Pina's Heart'. There was a bright flash of blue colored light and Pina curled up against Silica, tears running down her cheeks. I looked at Kirito and we smiled at each other. We told her we had to return to the front lines and that we would meet her back in the real world.

      As we waved goodbye, Kirito and I walked away ,hand in hand, back to battling on the front lines. Fighting for freedom and striving to escape this world everyone was trapped in.

      'Though...I want to be with Kirito longer...I don't want it to end yet...' I thought. After thinking about it more, I smiled as I realized that I still had many more adventures with Kirito. 'I can still make every day count! It's not over yet...'
