"Yes, because squids have developed the ability to plan and execute such a well-planned plan,"

"Well, they kidnapped me didn't they?"

"You were scrawny, Ty! You were tiny and adorable and unable to do shit," Sky says, throwing the half-empty can of soda into the trash. "Now, we're stronger. I'm stronger, you don't have to worry about me-"

"At least let me go with you, Sky, just in case!"

"Alright, I wasn't intending on saying this," Ty watched as his best friend sighed, eyeing warily at the sight of his fists unclenching and clenching. "I want to be alone because I don't want to be near you guys right now, there's something I need to think, alone, without anyone distracting me... no offense guys,"

Ty stared at Sky while everyone on the couch just waved him off, giving a noise of reassurance to him. However, he gulped and repeated the last sentence 5 times in his head until he realized what he actually meant. Something in his throat caused his airway to clog up, and soon he was struggling to breathe. By the time he returned to the house that he and his group of friends are sharing, Sky's no longer in front of him in the kitchen and the house has gotten strangely quiet.

He turned to the group in the living room, who were doing everything they could to not look awkward. Sparklez was cleaning his glasses, Ant is staring at his computer screen, Ian has found a sudden interest in the couch pillow, Jerome and Mitch are playing with their hands, Seto's tying a chain knot into his cape and Jason's biting on his nails.

"Adam!"

Sky paused at the door to his room upon hearing his real name being called, and watch Ty climb up the stairs quickly to be able to stand in front of him. He sighed through his nose and bit onto his lips.

"Adam, if it's something I did, please just tell me and now go off into the wilderness on your own!" He speaks as soon as he reached him. Sky tries to look away from his eyes but he finds himself unable to do so. "Listen, you could die out there,"

"Ty, with all due respect, I don't think so. And trust me, you didn't make a mistake or anything, I just need a break from all these things, all this attention I've been getting to just relax and assure myself. Please, can't you trust me?" Sky is saying and Ty just can't stop the frustration that's he's feeling. "I'm a grown man, I can do this,"

"No, I... you can't-"

"Why?"

Ty opened his mouth and tries to get something out. "What the nether?! You can't just do this and make a solo decision when we're supposed to be a team! When we've been best friends for 5 years!"

He hears Sky sighs and opens his door. "I'm doing this Ty, regardless of what you say. I'm not going to talk to you right now in this state,"

The slam of the wooden door jolts him back, realizing Sky has already ended the conversation. He hissed, already feeling the anger boil and getting ready to erupt out of his lungs.

Seto winced when he sees, or rather hears, Ty yell out in frustration, shoving everything off of a set of drawers on the balcony. Ant flinched hearing the shatter of the clay flowerpot as it collides with the floor and the mess that has certainly formed upstairs. Jason bit down on his nails hard as he hears Ty's knees hit the floor. Jerome and Mitch shared a concerned glance when they hear a broken sob from upstairs. Sparklez gulps nervously as he tries to take in the silence that has suddenly formed.

"Alright, uhm, Seto and Ty will stay here as backup, Sky will head out to the Forest Hills biome alone," Ant mumbles to himself before closing down his laptop. When Ian opens a can of soda, everyone turns to stare at him.
