"You should." Leira repeated and began cooking.

"Video call me later when you arrive in Brazil."

"Facetime?"

"I use samsung, bro."

"Oh. Right. But can't promise you though. I'm going to call this bebe right here first." Leira patted Seungwoo who was putting on his coat.

"My yeobo is going on a date with another man." Kai said feigning hurt.

"My yeobo is engaged to my best friend."

Leira made an 'ohh he said it' face. Seungwoo just shook his head amused and went ahead.

"You gotta admit. He won that."

"He won when he got you." Kai said ruffling her hair. She swatted his hand away.

"Go to work bro."

"Take care of yourself, Lei.  Call me if you need anything."

Leira smiled genuinely.

"Thanks Kai."

"Don't fall of the cliff. I don't want to be a widower." Kai teased.

"Don't jinx it you ass."

The day spent with them going on a date like a regular couple.

"Thinking back, we never really did go on a proper date huh." Seungwoo said as they walk hand in hand at the city streets.

Leira hummed as she drink her iced coffee.

"What exactly is a proper date? It doesn't matter as long as we hang out with each other." She shrugged.

"I love our campus dates though. I remember sneaking into your dorm just to watch you analyse a robot skeleton or just chilling on your bed reading books."

Seungwoo smiled remembering those times.

"I'm sorry for being such a nerd."

"Why? I love you for who you are, Han Seungwoo." Leira said mindlessly and stopped when she saw something interesting at one of the night market stall.

She went to pick it up while Seungwoo watched her while taking a deep breathe.

"You're going to make this hard for me than it already is, Lei." He said to himself.

"Woo, look at this! Its a mini dancing skeleton." Leira looked back to him and waved him over excitedly.

Her smile reached her eyes happily as Seungwoo felt his heart ache for her.

"Want me to buy that for you?"

"I already bought it though."

Seungwoo chuckled as she sniffed because of the cold wind and walked back to him with the skeleton in hand.

"Where are you going to put that skeleton?" He took of his coat and put it around her warmly.

"I'm going to sweat, Woo. I'm already wearing two layers."

Leira hooked the skeleton to her bag and tried to take off his coat but he hold it still.

"Nope."

"Yes."

"No."

"Seun-"

Leira blinked when he pulled the coat making their lips touched as they shared a soft kiss.

"Heart attack, Seungwoo. Heart attack." Leira chuckled leaning her forehead to his.

"Always."

"Where is this coming from?" Mr Kim slammed down the tablet on the table.

Articles going around saying Leira was not only two timing but also seeing someone who's already in a relationship.

"I have contacted the journalist. He said a woman clarified to be the doctor's girlfriend gave a full statement. Apparently she is an intern at SNU hospital, sir."

"Leira. Where is she?"

"She's last seen with the doctor, sir." His secretary said hesitantly.

"Does she even know that he has someone else? Tainting her name like this, what is she thinking?" Mr Kim said frustratedly.

"I don't think it's that sir. They had been together since their university days, I think the person is trying to sab-"

"Block the articles from coming, release a statement denying it. I don't want this to affect the company."

"Yes sir."

Mr Kim sighed as his secretary went out of his office.

"Han Seungwoo, are you not going to be a man of your word?"

"Do you really love her?"

"Yes."

"I'm just going to be straightforward with you since we are well grown adult. You have to break up with Leira."

"I'm sorry Wooseok-ah, I can't do that."

"I like you but my parents think You're not suitable with her, hyung. We lived in two different worlds. Leira is already engaged the day she was born. Thats just how it is in this family."

"Wooseok, I-"

"It's a losing battle, hyung. My father will do everything in his willpower to make things turn his way. This will just hurt her more. She has suffered enough."

"What do you mean?"

"Leira might not tell you this but she never planned to stay here permanently. She came here to remember her mother. This place will do nothing but bring painful memories to her."

Wooseok stood up from his seat.

"I'm sorry it have to be like this, hyung. I don't like to say this either but sometimes, even when we loved someone dearly, we have to let them go for their own good."

"Why exactly am I not suitable enough for her?"

"It's not about that as a whole. Its about what has been decided. If its fate, then it is what it is."
