Zak walked into the cafe with quick steps and walked up to the small table that Darryl was sitting at with the mysterious girl. He frowned slightly and crossed his arms as his lips sounded:

"Hey..."

"Oh goodness Zak! Seems like I forgot the time. I'm so sorry!" Darryl excused himself. He was slightly embarrassed and rubbed the back of his neck. Zak turned his attention to the girl.

"So who is this?"

"This is Abby, an old friend." Darryl said to Zak, before turning back towards Abby. " I think I should go now, I'm glad we were able to work things out though." Darryl smiled.

"Yes, me too! See you around!"

They started walking back in silence. Zak was feeling upset that Darryl was hanging out with another friend and forgot about him. He was still frowning.

"Why are you sulking?" Darryl then asked, watching Zak carefully. Zak stopped in his tracks and turned to meet his gaze, his eyes brimmed with tears.

"I will tell you why! We came here to spend time together and then you go ahead and hang out with another friend and completely forget about me... I guess I'm not that important though..."

"Of course you are important to me!" Darryl exclaimed stopping as well, quite shocked at Zak's words. They were standing behind a smaller building and Darryl looked into Zak's eyes and grabbed his hands to reassure him- deciding there was noone around anyway. He caressed Zak's hands in his.

"You are the most important person in the world to me, nothing will change that. I'm sorry I got a little distracted before..." Darryl whispered, continuing to caress Zak's hand in his.

Just then they heard steps coming toward them.

"Omg is it really you, Skeppy? And Bad?!" A short guy with brown, curly hair and a big smile on his face appeared. "I'm a big fan! I really didn't expect to see you guys here!"

Darryl slapped Zak's hands away, attempting to make it look like he was just high fiving Zak, and not holding his hands. Although it probably had been pretty obvious what they had been really doing, the fan really didn't notice or just didn't care enough to react.

"Can I just take a photo with the two of you?" the fan asked excitedly. The couple agreed and took a photo with him before parting ways.

They got back to vidcon and finally met up with Clay and Vincent to spend another day exploring vidcon, meeting fans and other youtubers. They day went by fast and before they knew it, the sky turned dark upon them again.

The group stood outside the entrance, hugging each other goodbye. Clay and Vincent hugged for a long while, it almost looked like they didn't want to part.

"Maybe... Vincent... do you want to go on a walk again? Our last one before we leave?" Clay suggested and they finally pulled apart, Vincent's eyes almost imperceptibly brimmed with tears. Vincent nodded.

"I would love to" he said quietly. They started walking. Zak and Darryl smiled softly at their friends behaviour, watching as they slowly disappeared down the road . Clay laid a protective arm around Vincent's shoulders.

Darryl turned to Zak instead and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

"What do you want to do now, Zak? It's our last night together as well..." Darryl said sadly.

"Don't say that..." Zak said quietly, tightening the grip on Darryl's hand. Slow tears started to flow from his eyes. Darryl wiped the tears away from Zak's cheeks with his thumbs and lightly kissed his cheek.

"Let's make it worthwhile" Darryl said and smiled faintly. He lead Zak by the hand back to his car.

They stopped at a small meadow and laid down together. Zak laid his head on Darryl's chest and the older wrapped his arms around him. The sky was beautiful above them, here outside of town, the stars seemed to shine even brighter. The stars blessed them with their beauty and mystery, both boys watched them with fascination.

"I wonder how it would feel like to be a star, and light up the sky like that" Zak whispered softly. Darryl rubbed the younger's cheek lightly and said:

"You're my star Zak, you light up my life..."

Zak turned to meet Darryl's beautiful eyes, and then leaned in to kiss him. Their lips connected in a moment of magic.

"I love you" Zak whispered as he finally pulled away.

"I love you too"
