"Aye, I thought I won't be seeing you again but I guess you changed your mind?"

Seungwoo shook his head as he took his usual seat.

"Its risky to join since you would be joining the Vaccine research team but you love being challenged."

"Vaccines?"

"Yes. We already have a team in town so they could use an extra brain. Just work with this team instead. There are too many speculations about that laboratory so I wouldn't recommend you joining them."

"What's the point showing me this letter then?"

"Just doing the procedures. They wanted me to give you this and I did. Now, I'm asking you to not accept it and went with our team."

And that is exactly what he did. Most of his colleagues thought that he accepted the request because he did decided to go.

But Doyoung's word got to him.

He leaned back to his seat and thanked the barista that was serving his coffee.

"I have my own problem to solve so I stayed." Seungwoo replied.

"Well Dr, I hope you solve it soon. Hwaiting!" The barista cheered and went back to his post.

Seungwoo smiled to him warmly and looked at his phone.

"I hope so too."

He had a picture of her as his lockscreen taken during their last date.

Looking at it briefly, he dialed his mother's number. Soon, it got through.

"Eomma. Can you do me a favor?"

Leira was walking to her room when she heard her brother call for her.

"Yeah?"

She saw how her dad was sitting facing the window while her mother stood beside him with an apologetic smile.

"Come in come in, don't be shy." Wooseok said teasingly making Leira rolled her eyes.

"What is it?"

"I admit defeat." Mr Kim said turning his chair to her.

"Shocking."

"Leira.." Her mother said this time.

"Alright alright I'll shut up and listen." She sat down beside her brother. He ruffled her hair earning a kick on his shin.

"Have you decided?" Mr Kim spoke up cutting off the siblings bicker.

"Yes but I want to be in SK HQ. Can I at least ask for that?"

"Fine but with one condition."

Leira bit her insides.

"Visit us once a month." Mr Kim said flatly.

"Oh."

Wooseok burst into a laugh breaking the tense atmosphere. Leira never fail to amuse him with her nonchalant character.

"What? I was expecting a dramatic condition because of what I've been through but yes, sure dad. I will. You don't have to ask since you're not going to marry me off anymore."

"Alright then. Off you go. I have already set a meeting to introduce you to your soon to be team in SK." Mr Kim said standing up from his seat.

"Already? I was planning to catch up with my friends though."

"That doctor is out to help the humanity and you wanted to lazy around?"

Leira scrunched her nose and went to her father. He had his palm on the side of his hip sternly.

"Thank you dad." She hugged him.

"Though I got dumped because you gave him stress. Don't blame me if I ended up single till I die."

"Your abeoji is sorry." He sighed.

"But this doesnt mean you can marry him off alright? Leave that oppa alone." Leira said pointing at the brother who was sitting smugly.

"Yes yes I get it. I just have to ask your grandpa for forgiveness. His wish cannot be fulfill."

"See, its not that hard to be understanding aye?" She snorted. Mr Kim pinched her cheek lightly.

"I'm your father. You still have my genes. Also, don't dig up-"

"I wont. I only have one mother and it is you so don't worry okay?" Leira hugged her mother warmly.

"Ah, what a nice family gathering. 10/10 would recommend." Wooseok said making them sigh.

"Aight Imma head out."

"I love you too, Wooseokie." Leira sent him a flying kiss to which he flicked it away playfully.
