This chapter has been rewritten and events have changed.
At around noon Wendy came and gave me the envelope filled with cash from my father. She informs me that she was going to see her mother for a few days, but would be back on Tuesday morning, reminding me that it was in fact Saturday.
I stay in my room, preferring that I stay in my room and rewatch Rick and Morty instead. Whenever the clock hits two thirty, my stomach is howling in hunger. I change into a pair of Nike running shorts and a t-shirt, at least making the effort to be seen in clean clothes if sighted downstairs.
Grabbing a package of grapes, and a bottle of water from the refrigerator, I place them in a bowl and rinse them off.
"You can't hide from us forever you know."
I jump slightly, a grape bouncing to the floor and I quickly reach to grab it. Looking up, my eyes meet Dalton's and my cheeks are instantly burning.
"What?" I recover, rinsing this grape off once more before tossing it into the bowl. I try to act casual, putting the grapes back in the fridge, then leaning against the counter. I hold out the bowl, causing him to cross the room and snatch one out.
"We're having a party tonight." He tells me, swallowing his grape and almost causing me to choke on mine.
Of course they would be having a party. Dad away on business, and housekeeper left today, they have free range until Tuesday.
"Do you like to party?" He asks, popping another grape into his house.
"I've never really been one." I shrug and his eyes wide, a mischievous smirk playing at his lips.
"Oh, so you're a good girl?" He rubs his hands together quickly, clapping them loudly when he's finished. "This is going to be a good night."
Without another word, he leaves the room.

The music blasts loudly throughout the house as I sift through the various makeup products Wendy had placed on the vanity. I have my door locked, preventing anyone from coming inside unannounced while I get ready. I watched from my window as people pulled up, parking in the driveway, and along the curb of the house. Some even were ushered to the back yard, where they began parking in two lines towards the lake.
A small fire catches my eye close to the water, people gathering around it in groups. The sight of it all made me jittery, there were so many people showing up, making it obvious that the boys were those of the popular crowd.
As if that took guessing.
I had almost locked myself away entirely whenever I realized that since I had never been to a party, I didn't have anything party attire. Luckily, hidden away within the mixture of clothing within the dresser and closet, I assembled an outfit out of things Wendy had placed in them for me. Settling upon a pair of black ripped, high waisted shorts that were a little shorter than I was used to wearing, a black tube top, and a white Nike Air Forces.
After I have finished my makeup, I go to the bathroom for a full body checkout. I framed my eyes with a light outlining of eyeliner, my lashes long after two coats of Better Than Sex masacara. I slide on a cropped camo jacket, allowing for a little coverage with the amount of exposed skin I was allowing.
Taking a deep breath, I grab my phone and open the door. There was no one upstairs, surprisingly me until I have reached the stairwell. It is shut off by two doors I hadn't noticed were there when open. On our side of the door was a note:
Keep door closed, Roger has key
Great.
So when I wanted to get back into my room tonight, I would have to get the 'key master' to unlock the door.
