This story is based on the already existing book series named "The Trails of Apollo" where the God Apollo becomes mortal. However this time it's his twin sister Artemis that becomes mortal.
This series also takes place in the Percy Jackson universe...
Once we were out of the hospital, Sloven put out a hand in front of me which caused me to stop. He then looked around and started sniffing the air, which was not a good sign. Usually when a Satyr started sniffing the air it either meant there was a monster nearby, or food. I highly doubted it was food. "Monster?" I questioned. "Maybe, but just in case we've got to go. And quickly," Sloven answered. As if on cue, a roar filled the parking lot. Sloven yelped and started running quickly, well as quickly as you can with crutches. Normally, I would kill whatever monster was after us with ease. But I needed my bow for that. Which I did not have... though maybe I could attempt to call one of my Huntresses... Levy Zackson, perhaps? She always has my back. My thoughts were interrupted when Sloven turned around to look at me. "Artemis! Let's go!" He shouted, clearly panicked. Normally if someone raised their voice at me I would have shot them with an arrow, but this time I just grumbled and followed him as best as I could. Because again, crutches are hard to run in. Just then, something huge slithered past us and stopped once it was in front of us. I instantly stopped running and so did Sloven. I recognized the beast, though I wish I did not. It was the Colchian Dragon, a serpent like creature that once guarded the Golden Fleece thousands of years ago. It was said that he never slept, that is until he was given a sleeping aid so that the Fleece could be stolen...

Sloven yelped and hid behind me. I glared at him, what did he think I could do to defeat a colchian dragon? I was a mortal! The dragon roared at us again which caused me to shiver. Just then, something else came running past us. This time it was smaller and yelling something, though I did not catch what it said. I then closed my eyes, my mortal self was terrified. However, then next second an ear piercing shriek filled the air. And then there was silence. I slowly opened my eyes only to see golden dust raining down on us, like what happened when monsters were defeated. And speaking of monsters, the dragon was nowhere to be seen. All that was there was a girl. About the same age as my mortal self with long blond hair that went past her shoulders. Her eyes were a stormy grey colour, much like Athena's. The girl was holding a bow and arrow, which I thought was rather smart of her. Bows are always the way to go. "You guys okay?" The girl asked as she looked at us, her tone was soft and shockingly calm. Considering she just defeated a colchian dragon. I nodded. "Yes, thank you..." I trailed off because I did not know her name. "Echo, I'm Echo." She said as she walked over to us, Sloven was still hiding behind me. Which I found rather annoying. "Echo? Interesting name." I replied, she shrugged. "So, who are you two?" Echo asked. "I am the Goddess Artemis. Well, Ex-Goddess...and this is Sloven, he is a Satyr." I explained, gesturing to Sloven who poked his head out from behind me. "He-hello." He stuttered. "You're Artemis?" Echo asked. "Was." I sighed. "What do you mean?" Echo replied. "Well, Zeus kicked me off of Olympus. I think it is only temporary though, but I am not sure." I said, Echo nodded. "I heard something about that but I didn't believe it, though now that you're standing in front of me..." She sighed before adding. "Isn't there a thing where you can be bounded to a Demigod? Like what happened to Apollo a thousand ish years ago?" Thunder boomed in the sky and I sighed again. "That would be a yes." I replied. "Then I would like to be bounded to you." Echo said, smirking slightly. Her smirk looked an awful lot like Athena's. She had to be this girl's mother. Thunder once again boomed in the skies, guess that meant I was officially bounded to this girl.
