Anne woke up to a beautiful snowy Saturday. There was a brightly shining sun, but it was still freezing. The moment Anne noticed the icing on the window, she jumped out of her bed and ran to it to look at the wonderful Snow queen, covered in snow. Shiny, beautiful, white, clean, sparkling snow. She opened the window to take a breath of some fresh air to wake her lungs up.
,,What a beautiful day! I am so glad I can see this beauty today! Who knows, what if I woke up a minute later and there would be already some dirt on it! Or tracks of a little animal? Well, I guess I'll never know..."
She spun around her room with a laugh and landed in front of her mirror. She checked her freckles. When she saw there is no change about them fading away, she looked at her hair. When there is snow, it always shines so brightly. In winter it always looks like a strong unquenchable fire.
Then she looked at her eyes. They were beautiful in the morning when she was looking at them. She didn't know they were sparkling throughout the day, too. She thought they were slowly losing their beauty when she was at school, when she was writing, because in the evening, they looked faded and tired and the color wasn't so pretty. She always checked them only in the morning and in the evening. No other time.
,,I am so excited about today! We are going to the woods with the girls to look for some places to get inspiration. Jane and Tillie joined our story club some time ago, but they didn't really have the time for writing yet, God knows why... but today they are going to start their writing career."
She was talking to Snow Queen. She didn't close the window, so she can have this small talk with her every morning about her plans for the day.
,,I bet, there are going to be so many inspiring places and we are going to have so much fun!"

∆The girls were running through the woods, laughing and having fun. Sometimes they stopped to enjoy the view because the winter in Avonlea was always unbelievably beautiful.
Anne suddenly stopped when they were running beside a river that was connected to Barry's pond, making the other girls stop too.
,,Why did you stop, Anne?" Jane asked.
,,You see..." she took a deep breath and pointed her finger at the other side of the river.
,,You see that wonderful place, or am I just imagining it? These stumps are perfect for our writing slash snacking break! There are six of them, we are five! There is going to be a wonderful flight for imagination!"
,,But how are we going to get there? I haven't seen a bridge for at least two hours and the ice doesn't seem so stable and thick," Ruby said.
Anne thought for a second and overlooked the landscape once again.
,,I know how, follow me!" she exclaimed and ran for a few seconds, till she came to a tree, fallen off the other side of the river to their side.
,,That's crazy!" Tillie said, giving Anne a doubting look.
,,Don't worry, it's going to be a little adventure! I'll go first and you go after me," Anne replied with a joyful smile and turned to the tree.
It wasn't thin, so it was not big of a problem. She grabbed her basket with snacks, that she dropped a second ago, and ran over the tree to the other side. The girls were surprised, but not too shocked- they have always known that Anne runs through the woods almost every afternoon, so she obviously must have some practice in things like this.
The second person to go was Diana. She uncertainly placed her foot on it and after she gripped her basket, closed her eyes for a second, and took a breath, she ran to the other side, right into Anne's arms, laughing.
,,Okay Ruby, your turn!" Jane said, pushing the girls to the tree. Ruby gave her a doubting look and then faced the tree.
,,I am going to die!" she cried.
,,Don't worry Ruby, you'll make it!" Anne and Diana supported her.
She also gripped her basket properly, and slowly, step by step, she got to the middle of the tree.
,,I can't continue, Anne! I am so scared!" she cried again.
,,Someone wise had said: 'If you stop at the point, you don't want to be in, why would you not continue?' You have to trust yourself, Ruby!" she tried to support her once again.
Ruby opened her eyes and wanted to continue, but her foot slipped and she started to fall. It wasn't a big height- she would stand on the ice pretty safely, which would be able to hold her since she was not heavy.
She squeaked and the girls gasped.
,,Do you need help?!" Anne screamed when she saw, she didn't fall on the ice and that she is only stuck halfway down.
,,No, I'll handle it!" she said.
Luckily, she was able to hold the second leg on the tree and she got back up. She finished the distance, she had left and safely landed on the ground beside Anne and Diana.
,,See, Ruby? That was an adventure, wasn't it?" Diana said, laughing, hugging her friend.
,,I need more practice in this. Like you, Anne," she laughed too when she was able to breathe normally again.

∆The girls were now all sitting on the stumps, thinking about their tales. Anne was passionately planning hers. She could write normally and continue her next chapter but for god knows why she decided to plan it to perfection first.
Ruby was thinking about her ideas for her tale and Diana was probably just murdering someone. In the story, of course.
Jane and Tillie haven't started any tales yet though, so Anne asked them to think about something and if they can't come up with anything, she would help them with the ideas.
,,Anne, I am lost!" Tillie cried.
,,Me too," Jane joined her.
,,Okay what about..." she thought for a second.
,,Jane, how about you write about a girl that became a ghost after she fell off the clip while a wild beast was chasing her. Then, they could hear her crying every night when there was a full moon. Short after she fell, an old lady finds her soul crying under the cliff and she makes a deal with her, that if on the fiftieth full moon, since the day she has fallen, someone comes and sees her, she will be able to come back as a human again, but if she doesn't find her true love till midnight, she would become a ghost forever. Then a handsome young man comes, disenthrals her, and becomes her true love," she finished, looking dreamily in the air.
,,Anne, that is absolutely amazing!" Jane exclaimed with a wide surprised smile. ,,How did you just think of it right now?" Anne just smiled and turned at Tillie.
,,I draw from my life experience..." she said mysteriously. She drew this from that incident with The Lake of Shining Waters.
,,Tillie, what about you..." she thought not even for a second, and her eyes already started sparkling.
,,Oh I know! What about two sailors sailing on the surface of deep oceans for many years, but they weren't innocent. They were robbers and thieves, and they have stolen so much in different countries! Once, in Spain, one of them meets a woman and he decided she would sail with them, as he has fallen in love with her. She agrees, but as it shows days later, she has been waiting for them for a long time, because she was from the international police and she was going to catch them undercover while using her charm," she said.
Jane and Tillie were shocked. They, of course, knew, that Anne has a very good imagination, but they wouldn't say, she would just come up with an idea at the moment they ask her to.
Now, that everyone had their ideas clear, the girls sat in silence, writing, sometimes taking a bite from their snacks.
