DAY 5

I woke up with an easy feeling.

No headaches, and no muscle pains.

Agad-agad ko namang binuksan ang cellphone ko at chi-neck kung may message ba.

And it turns out,

there's one.

Good Morning.

Please wear something casual this noon.

We'll be having a meeting at the restaurant for tomorrow's event.

I hope you had a good sleep last night.

Casual? Ano bang meron?

Bigla akong naka-amoy ng luto sa baba.

Kaya bumaba ako.

Pag baba ko, may mga pagkaing nakahain sa lamesa at may lalaking nakatalikod na nagluluto, wearing an apron.

Tapos tumingin siya sa akin.

"Oh, good thing you're awake. I cooked something for you." sabi niya, and then he smiled at me.

And it was Abel.

I thought he was...

nevermind.

Tapos umupo ako kaagad, without saying anything.

"I'm sorry if I sneaked in inside your house. I wanted to surprise you with an easy breakfast. I hope you had a good sleep." he said, tapos binigyan niya ako ng kape.

And then I smiled.

"What's with you? You look happy today." sabi ko.

"I guess it's starting to get in my nature." he said, while smiling.

And then he also sat.

"Parang masarap to ah." sabi ko, and then I started eating.

"Well, that's the first time that I've cooked that and I didn't expect that it would turn out well." sabi niya.

"Hm. It's really good. By the way, what brings you here?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Okay, so uhm... I raised fifty thousand in providing foods for the kids, and for the elders in the organization that I am working with. It's called Uni-life Bound." he said, with a big smile.

"Really?!" I reacted. "That's good to hear!" I said.

"I'm still planning on what to do next, though." he said.

"How about giving in activities like games para sa mga bata? Or like gardening things for the elders?" I suggested.

"Well... I guess.. that's a good idea. I'll work on that." sabi niya.
