DAY 12

5AM | My Birthday

It was a few days after, after it all went down. Mikee and I became more and more close, and more likely comfortable with each other after it happened.

Though, there were no label named between us.

It just happened, with no words left said.

I woke up with a text from a bunch of people. They all greeted me a 'Happy Birthday' especially on social medias.

I replied to each one of them and I thanked them, for all of their greetings.

After checking all my social medias, I turned off my phone and bumaba ako with my white robe on.

I was gonna start my day with a coffee nang napansin ko na may pagkain at letter na nakahanda sa table.

And it definitely drew a smile on my face.

'Later' has an exclamation point which is surprising.

Mikee doesn't like exclamation marks.

Anyhow, it made me flatter so much.

Mikee is the sweetest guy that I've ever known and the letter made me so much happy.

The food was a birthday pancake. But instead of sprinkles, the filling was cookies and cream with a candle with no fire on top. And beside of the pancake, there was a small black box that is a gift.

When I opened the small black box, I was surprised with what's inside.

It's a ring.

I took it outside of the box and I held onto it, looking at it closely.

It was a plain steeled silver ring with a wave scalloped line engraved.

I was confused with what this person was telling me. It was too expensive yet so meaningful, that you would refuse to give it back.

So I wore it instead.
