Midas x Reader ? Fortnite

Midas sat there as he just got lost in thought. Y/N held onto him carefully. The two were in a comfortable silence until they heard alarms going off. Y/N jumped and looked at Midas.

"What's that?" She asked.

Midas simply shrugged, "I have no idea, hun... it's an alarm that's for sure."

Midas got up and went to the door, it was still locked. He looked at y/n and walked over to her. "Well I don't think it has anything to do with us... the door is locke-." Midas was cut off by the door busting open.

"Midas!" "Y/N!" Skye and Meowscles said at the same time.

"Skye?" "Meowscles!" Y/N and Midas said.

"What are you guys doing here? How did you find us!?" Y/N asked as she ran over to Skye and looked at her.

"We can tell you guys later. There's people after us... apparently you guys are supposed to get y/n home soon!" Skye said as she grabbed y/n's hand, pulling her out the room.

Meowscles picked up Midas who let out a squeal, definitely not meaning to. "Put me down!" He said and squirmed.

Meowscles shook his head, "we gotta get you out of here!" He said.

They left the room and no one was there so they began to run.

"How do we get out?" Skye asked.

"We have no clue! Midas tried to escape and he did nothing but run into nothing!" Y/N said.

The four of them began running anyways. They bumped into a bunch of men and they started chasing the four.

"Why don't we just fight them?" Meowscles yelled towards Skye.

"It's no use anyways! Bullets go through through them and they don't feel pain!" Midas said to Meowscles. "Also put me down!"

"No!"

They kept running, the three of them were looking for a way out but y/n was distracted by all of the code like text surrounding them.

"What the hell! We just want get back!" Skye screamed as she was getting tired from running.

After she said that a big portal appeared, making the four of them stop. They all stared at it.

"What if it's not where we want?" Meowscles said, finally putting Midas down.

"Who cares! Let's go!" Y/N said as she jumped into it. She'd rather be anywhere but where she was.

Midas looked down as y/n jumped, calling her name. He huffed and looked at the other two.

"Well Cmon!" He said before going into the portal as well.

Meowscles and Skye held onto each other as they both followed behind Midas.

The four of them were back to the lobby of the game. Well, y/n was captured in a tight hug from TNTina. She pulled away  and looked at the other three.

"You guys are back!" Tina said.

"Yeah. That was.. easy." Midas said simply.

"Told you guys it'd be fine." Y/N said as she crossed her arms.

Midas nodded and left Meowscles and Skye to talk to TNTina for now. He just walked over to y/n and held her, kissing her. Of course, she kissed back, wrapping her arms around his shoulders the best she could. When they pulled away y/n's face was a light pink.

"What was that for?" She asked.

"I love you.. and we're going to get you home." Midas said.

"I love you too.." she said before looking over. She pulled Midas with her as she walked away.

They walked passed everyone else and as they were about to ask them what happened or where have they been, y/n just waved them off.

"I'll tell you guys everything in a bit... me and Midas have to talk." She said before pulling Midas into his room.

"We just got rescued and now we're out of that crazy place, what could you possibly want to talk about?" Midas asked as he sat on the bed, watching y/n lock the door.

"You! And how you got me here! There's no one here interrogating us! No one here busting open doors! Tell me!" Y/N said as she got angry.

Midas was taken aback a bit, "fine. Ok listen, I found this island on the map right? I never been there before and no one has ever told me about it so I assumed no one else knew about it. I eventually got there with a boat and when I was there, there was a few different buildings. It also said it was The Spawn Island. I explored the buildings but after that I noticed there was a rift in the air. I was curious so I built up to it. All I remember after that is touching it and then everything went black and I was back at the lobby in the battle pass room with the rest of the agents who were on break."

Y/N stared at Midas. She blinked once before walking over to him. She pushed him, making him fall back onto the bed a little.

"So you go to an island you never saw and touch a mystery rift in the air that could've taken you anywhere?!" She asked, almost yelling. "Midas, what if this whole situation is why you never knew about that island! So this doesn't happen!" She yelled.

"Y/N I didn't know what would happen! I especially didn't think about this happening!" Midas said as he put his hands up. He was standing up off the bed now, looking down at y/n.

Y/N shivered a bit as Midas looked down at her but she looked back up at him and her fists clenched. "Ya know what! This definitely is your fault! When I killed you in the game my game glitched and lagged like hell! Then all I saw was your hand reaching to me and then bam! I'm here! Your crazy ass got me here because what.. you.. you were curious?!"

Of course y/n knew that Midas had no idea this would happen, it was pretty much a thought that was impossible. She was still angry with him though. She wanted to go home and all this time she thought she was here maybe because they needed help or something. That no one had a clue as to how she got here. But no, all because Midas touched stuff he shouldn't have. Midas knew this whole time and didn't tell her!

"Hun, I'm sorry! I know it's all my fault!"

"Why did you wait until now to tell me!" Y/N yelled, also mad over that. "This whole time I was here! Why'd you wait until I'm being threatened huh?"

"I'm sorry! I apologize, ok? I brought you here so I'll get you back home ok?!" Midas yelled back.

"Prove it!"

"Prove what!?"

"Prove that you're sorry!" Y/N screamed.

Midas turned to her and roughly pressed her against the wall. "I apologize that I brought you here, I'll get you home. I. Said. I'm. Sorry." He said deeply.

Y/N just eyed him, "and I said prove it."
