Unexpected

Haileys POV

After joking and laughing around, Jay darts towards the locker room acting all weird. " Jay? " I ask following after him. I walk into the locker room and Jay is in tears looking at himself in the mirror.
" Jay, what's up? " I ask really worried. " E..Erin..d..didnt hurt her ankle. " Jay sobbs " Jay, I don't understand? " I question sitting down on the floor with him. " She..was 3 months pregnant. We..we only told Voight. " Jay explains hugging into me. " Jay, I'm so sorry. " I reply pulling him in even tighter. " I..I'm sorry, I'm a mess you dont need this. " Jay apologies trying to pull himself together. " You have absolutely nothing to apologise for Jay. " I reply rubbing his arm. We sit there hugging into each other for a few more minutes.

Jay's POV

Hailey and I are sitting on the floor hugging into each other after I break down over Erin's miscarriage. " We should go back. " I say standing up. " We dont have to, Voights probably guessed why you ran out. " Hailey sympathetically smiles standing up. " I'm okay now, I don't know why it came over me it was five years ago. " I smile back at hailey. " Stop making exuses, your allowed to be emotional. " Hailey says rubbing my arm.

When we get back into the bullpen, its obvious they can tell I've been crying. " ya'll right Jay? " Al asks eating a banana. " Ye. " I smile. " Jay head off home get some rest. " Voight orders walking out of his office. " Voight I'm fine, I'll just be on my own anyway. " I sigh. " Ja, you won't be on your own! " Dhalia says melting my heart at her cuteness. " Remember what Hailey and I said the other day, I was only staying for one night. " I explain bending down to Dhalias height. " We will just watch frozen again. That's why you stayed the other night. " Dahlia practically beggs. " Not tonight kidda. " I say rubbing her head. " Hailey please..." Dhalia beggs. " Not tonight! " Hailey snaps. Everyone jumps at Hailey snapping. Dhalia runs off over to Kim crying.

Haileys POV

Dhalia runs over to Kim in tears after being snapped at. " Dhalia it's okay. Hailey didnt mean to snap. " Kim says lifting Dhalia up. " Dhalia, I'm sorry sweetheart. " I say walking up to her; by this point everyone has vacated the area and relocated to the break room giving kim, I and Dhalia some room. " No! " Dhalia screams. " Dhalia, Hailey loves you so much! She would never deliberately snap at you. " Kim explains in full mum mode. " I'm sorry! " Dhalia says reaching her arms out for me to take her. " Its okay, it was my fault. " I reply taking hold of her. Everyone comes back out the break room once kim signals that the coast is clear.
" Alright everyone go home, get out of here. " Voight barks. Nobody argues with him as we grab are stuff and walk down the stairs.
