Unexpected

Jay's POV

Once Hailey and I got back to the cabin we went inside and waited inside for the guests to arrive before we went out. " Mrs Halstead, I love it " Hailey smiles, looking deep into my eyes " Me too. I'm so happy were finally married, I've been wanting this day to happen since Day one " I uncontrollably grin " Me too. I love you so much Jay " Hailey says, rising to her tiptoes so she can give me a kiss " Not as much as I love you " I reply

General POV

Once all the guest had seated Jay and Hailey made there way out to the yard. They were greeted by clapping and cheering- the odd few people shouting ' Mr and Mrs Halstead have arrived '. They made there way to the dance floor for there first dance, where they danced to ' perfect ' my Ed Sheeran. It was the song they listened to when they went stargazing back when they were
' just friends '. The couple slowly swayed in each others arms along to the music whispering the odd ' your amazing ' and ' you look beautiful '.

After the music stopped they took there place at the ' wedding party ' table to have there meal. Since it was just more of a relaxed, backyard party they just made up some buffet kind of food so people could just help themselves to whatever. " This is an amazing wedding " Natalie says placing a small burger onto her plate " Thankyou " Hailey smiles " You didnt say where you were having your honeymoon " Will adds " Where going to Bali once the babies here. We cant exactly go straight after unless the air hostess wants to deliver a baby maby " Hailey laughs as they all walk back to the table " Good point " Will smiles- raising an eyebrow. " Will, its go time " Platt says, hinting at the best mans speach " Wooo " Will says sarcastically.

Will places his plate down on the table, then taps his glass with a spoon to get everyone's attention. " Afteroon everyone, for you who dont know me I'm Will, the better brother out the two of us " Will says introducing himself. Everyone chuckles at his remark before he carrys on. " I never thought I see they day of my older brother getting married. When Jay and I were younger he was always the wild child getting into all sorts of trouble. I looked up to him and tried to copy everything he done- which our mom didnt appreciat. This is probably one of my favorite memories of us as kids, right here at the cabin. We- you- decided to climb a very high tree, I told Jay it wasnt a good idea yet he insisted. I waited at the bottom and he climbed up to convince me it was alright. He soon changed his mind when the fire brigade had to come out and help him out the tree " Will pauses until the roar of laughter calms down. " In all seriousness though, I couldn't be more grateful to have a brother like you Jay. Over the last few years since being partnered up with Hailey you've changed into a more mature man. You've also been alot more smiley, happy and just over all relaxed- Hailey you've made my brother a better man for good and that I will be grateful for. Over the last year I've seen Jay grow into this most amazing father, being there for Hailey and taking Dhalia in as his own from day one- which didnt surprise me. If you could imagine the most perfect couple Jay and Hailey are definitely that. I'm excited to see what adventure Jay and Hailey have as they begin life in marriage- good luck Hailey. " Will finishes. Jay elbows Will at telling everyone the tree story that he managed to keep a secret for however many years. " Thanks Will " Hailey smiles, leaning over Jay.

After about half an hour of just relaxing it was Kim's turn for her maid of honour speech " Hello everyone, I'm Kim. I'm going to keep this short and sweet, I'm very sorry I dont any embarrassing stories of Hailey. I must say though that she is the best friend anyone could ask for, Hailey you are one of the most kindest, bravest and funniest person I know. When the going gets tough you fight through it like it's a piece of cake, you always there for everyone. You put others before yourself which I admire so much about you- especially when it comes to your beautiful daughter Dhalia. Ever since Jay and Hailey were partnered up, the whole of intelligence knew that one day we would be here celebrating there marriage. Jay and Hailey dont know this, but the whole team on the bet on how long it would take Jay and Hailey to hook up- it took way longer than we all thought. The wait killed us. To the perfect couple, Mr and Mrs Halstead. " Kim cheered and everyone took a toast to the happy couple.

Jay's POV

Kim and Will had done there speeches which ment it was my turn next and I was not looking forward to it. Public speaking is not my forte at all. I stand up shaking, Hailey gives me a reassuring look. " Evening everyone, I just want to first thank you all for coming and celebrating with Hailey and I. I would also like to thank the best men, bridesmaids, the two amazing flower girls and Owen. Most of all I'm happy Will is still here. " I began as Will shot me a death glare and Kevin and Adam smirked. " The first day I met Hailey I knew there was something special about her. Then I wasnt sure if i was going to see her again when she told Voight to get lost basically " I smirk " over the last few years working with Hailey I realised she was more than just my best friend and I was in love with her. The way she smiles and goofs around makes me room fill up with happiness and love however I know never to mess with her- unless I want thrown against a car (Adam). " I add, being interupted by a wave of laughter. I look over to my left and see Hailey gushing. " I have to thank our beautiful daughter Dhalia for encouraging us to get together. I know what your all thinking 'a five year old?' but yes. She gave us both a kick in the direction and the way she bought us together I'll be ever grateful for. The nights dancing and singing to Frozen were the ones I fell even more in love with Hailey and seeing the way she was an amazing mother to Dhalia. I should probably stop the ramble now before you all fall asleep. So I'll finish off by saying I love you soo much Hailey and thankyou for you all coming. " I finish, bright red and embarrassed. " I love you so much Jay " Hailey smiles as I sit down, leaning in for a kiss.
