Y/n........ just a normal average teen who had just moved to beach city.... Nothing special, right?

I walked behind the two best friends that were chatting with each other. I stayed silent the whole time since I didn't want to interrupt anything. That was until Steven said, "We're here!" I looked around the place, there were many things to do in this place, but to be honest, I didn't feel like doing anything. "You guys do whatever, I'll just go get some more stuff to eat," I said slowly backing up. "Didn't you just have a donut?" Steven said a little confused. Connie soon said something before I can say anything. " It's fine, Hey Y/n can I talk to you alone for a bit?" "Yeah sure," I said blankly. We then walked somewhere a little further away from Steven. "Hey, can I tell you something?" The girl asked me. "Yeah sure, go ahead." "So, I uh, I kind of have a little crush on Steven, and I don't want to sound rude but, please don't hang out with him too much ok?" She said with a bit of worry in her voice. "Hmmm, ok I'll try I guess." I lie. Well I won't try to take Steven away. It's not like we're gonna end up together anyways. Right? I mean we just met- I was soon interrupted out of my thoughts by Connie. "Good, now c'mon, let's go back and find Steven," the excited girl said as she grabbed my hand to lead us back to where Steven was standing. "What happened," he asked us. Connie was just about to answer but I decided to just say, "She was just telling me some stuff about beach city, that's it." Connie then looked at me and smiled. "Oh that's nice Con-Con," Steven said with a blush forming on his face. Connie was also blushing a bit. I mean I just met this guy, but why does my heart feel like it's burning. I already told myself and her that I will never have a crush on him, oh no- "Let's go on a ride!" Steven says excitedly as he grabs me and Connie's hand. ~~~~~~~~~Time skip~~~~~~~~~ Connie had to go home, to study, so it was just me and Steven. "What a day," I say with a hint of tiredness in my voice. "Yeah, it was a really fun day," Steven says after. "Hey wait a minute, since I gave Connie a nick name, I should give you one." "What, oh no, I don't need a nick name," I say with my hands up in defense

(Kinda like this)
"Oh well, too bad, you're getting one anyway," he says not caring about my opinion. The fact that Steven is not giving me a choice reminds me of my parents in a way. "How about, hmmm," he puts his finger on his chin. "Ooh I have one, how about N/n (nickname)" he says proudly. "Hey, that, actually isn't bad, I like it," I say also proud of the choice he made. "Yeah, so umm, I was wondering, do you wanna, you know, watch a movie with me tonight, I know we just met and all, but I feel like watching a movie would build up our friendship, y'know." The curly boy says as he scratches the back of his neck. I stay quiet for a few seconds until I made my decision. "Yeah sure." "Oh really? Don't you know you can't go into a strangers house," he says jokingly. "Oh please, you aren't a stranger, you're a friend, and you seem trustable enough," I replied. "Ok then, c'mon, let's go to my house, it isn't that far," he says as he grabs my hand suddenly and starts walking. I feel my face heat up at this sudden action, but luckily it was dark so he wouldn't be able to see my tomato red face. No snap out of it Y/n he's just a friend.
