I'm SO Grounded

Laura's Pov

I said, "Soooo what are we doing for the rest of the day. Cause ya girl is hella bored right now." Sky said, "Can we go to the park?"

"Sky Sweetie. I wish we could but it's raining." She pouted and crossed her arms.

"Skylynn. I'm sorry. But we can't go to the park if it's raining." Cal said, "How about we have a movie day?"

Sky said, "Okay." Ash said, "Okay. Sky. Why don't you help us build the fort and Laura and Calum will go get movies and snacks."

"Yes. Let's do that. I love forts." I said, "Alright Sweetie. You stay here with the boys. And me and Calum will be back with movies and snacks."

"Okay laura." Me and Cal left and went to Target to get food and movies.

After we got everything we needed we went back to the house. We went in and we were so shocked to see how amazing the fort was.

Sky ran over to me and said, "DID WE DO A GOOD JOB LAURA?" "Yes you did pumpkin."

Me and cal took the stuff in the kitchen and started to make popcorn. We also bought candy and sodas. And then some frozen pizzas for later. My phone buzzed and I saw I had a text from mom.

From: Mama Bear💕🤰🏼👩‍👧‍👦😻

Hey pumpkin. I'm not gonna be home until later tomorrow night. You're in charge. I love you. Call me if you have any problems.

To: Mama Bear💕🤰🏼👩‍👧‍👦😻

Alright mama. I love you. See you tomorrow.

Cal said, "Who texted?" "Mom. She said that she won't be home until later tomorrow night. So I'm in charge."

Nash came in and said, "Not fair! Why are you in charge?" "Um. Oldest."

"Um. You don't live here." "Technically. I still have a room here. So yes. I do live here."

"BUT I WANNA BE IN CHARGE!" "Well sucks to suck."

"Ugh. I hate being the baby." "You aren't. You're the middle child."

"Whatever." We got all the food and went in the living room. We went in the fort and got comfy. We mostly got movies that were appropriate for Sky. We put the first one in.

We talked more than we watched the movie because we are just giggly people who can't stay quiet for more than a few seconds. After we had watched about three movies I went and put the pizzas in the oven. I set the timer and went back in the fort.

Sky said, "Laura. When's Mama gonna be home?" "Not until tomorrow night sweetheart."

"But I can't sleep if mama isn't here." "You can sleep with me and Calum."

"But how do I know that mama is safe?" "She's safe, sweetie. She just has a lot of work to do."

She nodded and came over to me. She laid in my lap and said, "I don't want you to leave me." "I'm here for five months."

"Why can't you just move back here?" "I'm living near Calum because his career is in Australia and I love him."

"So you don't love me enough to live here?" "No. That's not what I'm saying sweetie. I'm just saying that me and Calum are in a very committed relationship and i like to be near him and be close enough to support his career."

She sighed and said, "I just want you to move back here." "I know pumpkin. And maybe I will one day. But for now I still live in Australia. But look on the bright side, I'm here for five months. And you can spend so much time with me."

"Okay. But can you take Hayes with you. He's annoying." "Sorry pumpkin. You're stuck with that one."

He stuck his tongue out at me and said, "You're a butt." "Yes. Yes you are."

He rolled his eyes. Soon the timer went off so I took the pizzas out of the oven. I let them cool a little bit and then I sliced them. I called everyone in and they came and got their plates. I wasn't really in the pizza mood so I made myself a fruit salad.

We all went back into the fort to eat our food. After we were all finished everyone gave me their dishes and I went in the kitchen and washed them. After I washed all the dishes I wrapped up all the leftovers and put them in the fridge.

I went back into the fort and Sky said, "Laura. Nash is being mean."

"What did he do?" "He's yelling at Victoria."

I looked at Nash and raised my eyebrow. He rolled his eyes and walked out of the fort and upstairs.

I sighed and said, "I'll be back." I went upstairs and went into Nash's room. He was laying on his bed face down.

"Nashty. What's going on?" He shook his head.

"Hamilton." "Don't use my real name."

"Then tell me what's going on." "Nothings going on."

"You're yelling at your ex-girlfriend. That never happens." "Fine. She cheated on me. With multiple guys."

"No. Victoria would never do that." "Well she did. People sent me proof."

He sat up and I wrapped my arms around him. "I know I shouldn't have yelled in front of everyone. And I'm sorry. I just got so worked up."

"No. Nash. I get it." "Why would she do this to me?"

"I'm not sure Bubba. Girls don't always know the right thing to do." "I really thought she was the one. I love her so much."

"I know." He laid his head on my shoulder and I ran my fingers through his hair.

"Don't worry bubs. You'll find someone else. For now. Just focus on you." He nodded.

"I'm gonna go back downstairs. You can stay up here until you calm down a little bit more. Just come down when you're ready." He nodded and laid back on his bed.

I walked out of his room and went back downstairs. I went in the fort and sat next to cal. They had already started another movie.

Sky said, "Is he okay?" "He will be. He's just going through some stuff."

She got back in my lap and laid back on me. Cal wrapped his arm around me and said, "Are you sure he's okay?"

"It's just relationship stuff." Hayes came over to me and laid next to me. He put his head on my lap and said, "Play with my hair."

Sky said, "Hayes. I'm sitting here. Move your big head." "Skylynn. Be nice."

"Fine. Hayes. Move your big head. Please." "Not what I meant."

"I said please." "But it's not nice to call Hayes names."

"But he does have a big head." "Skylynn. Do you want to go to timeout?"

She shook her head. "Then say sorry to Hayes."

She looked at him and said, "I'm sorry for saying you had a big head Hayes." He said, "It's okay Skylynn."

I started to play with Hayes' hair and kept watching the movie. After about two more movies Sky was asleep.

"I'm gonna go put her in bed." Hayes sat up and I went upstairs. I went in my room and laid her on my bed. I pulled the covers over her and went back downstairs.

The guys were just sitting around talking. Hayes said, "We're watching a scary movie."

"That's fine." I sat back on Cal's lap and got comfy on him. Johnson started the movie and we all just sat there and watched it.

It really wasn't that scary. But of course some of the boys were getting scared. After we watched a few more movies I got up and said, "I'm going to bed. Goodnight guys."

Cal got up and said, "I'm going up too. Goodnight." We both went upstairs and laid on the bed next to Sky. Cal said, "Good night beautiful. I love you."

"I love you too babe. Good night." We both fell asleep.
