Laura's Pov

Well. I'm officially 26 weeks along now. The morning sickness has somewhat subsided. But there's still days where it'll sneak up on me.

The triplets are very active and they've really been making their presence known. Today we are just having a normal check up for the triplets. Appointments are going to get a lot more common throughout the next few months since I am having triplets.

My doctor told me that they'll need to keep a close eye on me and the development of the babies starting at 30 weeks. Pregnancies with multiples are more likely to have early delivery, so they want to make sure that if they start seeing those signs, they are aware and so are Cal and I.

I'm honestly nervous about these next few months because I don't want the babies to be born too early. Cal and the guys have been doing a lot of work on the nursery and it looks amazing.

Ever since the fans have found out the genders of the babies, we've gotten so many gifts. We've also gotten a lot of gifts from different brands. As soon as I finish getting things sorted, we end up getting a bunch more packages and I have to start all over again. But, honestly, I don't mind. It's giving me something to do.

I woke up and I could hear Cal downstairs with the boys. I got out of bed and went downstairs. Cal said, "Did we wake you up baby?"

"No babe. You didn't." He pulled me down on his lap and said, "How are my babies doing?"

"Well. Considering that I'm not getting kicked every five seconds, I would say they're sleeping." "We get to see them today."

"I know baby." Ash said, "Can we come? We never get to see our niece and nephews."

"Y'all can come, but you need to behave." "I can behave Laura."

"Sure you can." Cal said, "How about you go get ready and we can all go get some breakfast before the appointment."

"Okay."

I went back upstairs and got ready for the day. I just put on some leggings and one of Cal's sweatshirts (which barely fit nowadays). I put my hair up in a ponytail and brushed my teeth. I slid on my Birkenstocks and went back downstairs.

We all went out to the car and went to Waffle House. After we finished eating, we headed to the OBGYN to go to my appointment.

We went inside and I signed in. After around twenty minutes I was called back and they did all of the normal measurements.

They took us back to a room and the nurse told us the doctor would be in soon. Luke said, "Laura, what happens if they're born before you're nine months along?"

"Nothing bad will happen Luke. It's normal for multiples to come before they're full term. I'm not supposed to go past 36 weeks. So if I do, I'll probably end up having to have a c-section." "Oh."

Soon the doctor came in and did my sonogram. This time we got to see the 3D sonogram and I literally loved seeing my babies' features.

Once we finished the sonogram, Dr. Smith said, "So Laura. You know the rules from now on. Once you're at 30 weeks, you're in here once a week, and if you go past 36 weeks, we will either induce you or perform a c-section." I nodded and she said, "Calum. Don't let her try to hide her pain from you, if you think something's off, give me a call."

He nodded and she talked to us for a little while longer before she left. We checked out and made my next appointment.

We went back home and the guys went up to the nursery. I just stayed in the living room and organized all of the gifts we had for the triplets.

I'm not supposed to be doing all that much because Dr. Smith doesn't want me going into labor too early. Once I finished organizing the gifts we had, I sat on the couch and facetimed Nash. He answered and said, "Hey big sister. How was the appointment today?"

"It was good. I'm basically on bed rest now. I'm not supposed to be doing much because Dr. Smith doesn't want the triplets to come early." "So does she know when they should be coming?"

"Not really. We're just hoping to get to 30 weeks." "And what happens if they come before that?"

"Well. There's more risks for health issues. But honestly, I'm not really sure. We'll just have to see what happens." "So when are you telling mom to come?"

"I don't know yet. I might just have to let her know when I go into labor. Because I honestly have no clue when they'll be here. She doesn't need to be here weeks before they get here." "Okay. I guess that makes sense. But I'm sure she wouldn't mind coming early."

"I know Nash. And I'll talk to her about it. But we'll just have to see what happens." "Okay. So what are the guys doing?"

"They're up in the nursery." "No one stayed downstairs with you?"

"No. And no one needed to. I was just organizing all the gifts we got from fans and brands." "Do you want me to go see if you have any more packages?"

"No. I think Cal and I will go within the next few days. We always end up filling up our car when we go." "Okay. Well if you change your mind, Hayes and I will go and pick things up."

"I appreciate that Nash, but I think I can wait a day or two before having to go through more packages. So how are things with you and Taylor?" "Things with me and Taylor are great."

"I'm glad to hear that. It warms my heart to see my baby brother growing up." "I'm not even the youngest."

"Okay. Fine. It warms my heart to see my middle baby brother growing up." "You're annoying."

"Hey. It's not my fault I'm the oldest." "So you say."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Stop being annoying." "Oh. So now I'm the annoying one."

"Yes. Yes you are." "I beg to differ. I think Hayes is the annoying one."

"Of course you do." "He's the annoying little brother, you can't argue with that."

"Whatever you say Hamilton." "Why do you have to call me by my real name?"

"Does it bother you?" "Obviously."

"Then that's why I do it." "Okay. I gotta go."

"Bye Nashty." "Bye big sister."

I hung up and went upstairs to see what the boys were doing. I went in the nursery, and honestly, it looked amazing. Cal said, "Babe. You know you aren't supposed to be up here. The paint fumes are bad for you and the babies."

"Cal. It's fine baby." "Laura."

"Okay. I'll go back downstairs. I just wanted to see how things were looking up here." "We shouldn't be too much longer up here baby. You just go downstairs and relax."
