It's not like you're courting him per say, only just a little. Usually its the men that does the courting but in your case well— ever so subtly you are. There's no way in hell that you'll throw away your shot. Given that his wife and daughter gave you their blessings to basically smother him in your undying love since like ever.

That doesn't mean that he likes the idea though. Burr is a smart man, you know that he's aware of your advances. Maybe he just acts ignorant as to make you give up. Not like you will anyway. You'd rather die than give up on him. You've been pursuing him since the day of the party up to the present,

and there's no way that you'll stop now.
