No More Secrets.
"Wait! Wait!" Midoriya raised his gands in panic, "why do we have to result to that? No, this is bad.." Midoriya looks around, "We're not even supposed to be here!"
"If we're going to fight, at least do it during free practice or something.." Midoriya adds. What Bakugou said really caught him off guard and couldn't find his words, "we should reserve a training toom and do it there..!"
Bakugou had enough. He clenched his jaw and his fists, "If we fight seriously, we'll be stopped."
Midoriya was taken a back. Right now, he just felt that Bakugou's invitation for duel was not just for practice, but a matter of his pride and ego.
"What part of you made All Might do what he did? Huh?" Bakugou glares, "let me see."
Midoriya's brows furrow in worry and confusion.
"If the way you admired him was correct," Bakugou continues with his eyes looking a little red than usual. The light around him, his eyes deflected it fully. "..then does that mean my admiration was wrong?" Oh he was beyond pissed.
"Kachan.."
Silence engulfed the two of them. It felt like the whole world went silent beneath them and nothing was separating them. A sign that they were ready to crash.
Bakugou wasn't waiting any longer. He started to stretch his limbs in preparation for battle.
"A-Are you really planning on fighting?"
Bakugou scoffs, "why? You backing out again? What did I expect," he paused and looked at Midoriya dead in the eye. "Oh and let me get one thing straight."
Midoriya didn't answer. "What do you think of (Name)?"
"O-Of (N-Name)?" He stutters once again.
Bakugou didn't reply and Midoriya knew he was waiting for an answer, "s-she sh-ee is powerful and s-strong! E-Everybody likes her—"
"You know what? Don't talk about her in front of me." Bakugou's glare tightens, "I don't like the way her name comes off your mouth."
Midoriya's eyes widened another level. What was that supposed to mean? Does Kacchan like (Name)? But how?
"Do you li—"
Midoriya was cut off, "if you don't want to get hurt, get ready." He continued, "Oh yeah, you switched to mainly using kicks, right?"
"Wait! I said we can—" And once again, Midoriya was cutt off but by Bakugou initiating the first move of offense.
