Villains On My Tail
The halls were illuminated with bright white lights that were lined up against the ceiling. It stretched far and the hallways had numerous left and right turns.
It was silent for the first few minutes the three stepped foot out the stairs, and as of now the only thing that could be heard that shifting heels of the three that echoed around them.
(Name) chose to stay silent while observing the place. They've been walking for a good few minutes and it was enough time to familiarize herself with the place.
What caught her attention now was another man walking in their direction from the opposite side. He hung his head low and scratched his head in annoyance, "that brat!"
He lifted his head and was met with his bosses and an unfamiliar lady. They all came to a halt and he immediately greeted Chisaki, "Good evening, Overhaul."
"What seems to be the hassle?" Chisaki asked.
"Eri didn't like the toy I bought from the store and she destroyed it with her quirk." The guy explained, taking a short glance at the lady next to Chisaki.
"Is that so?" Chisaki asked, "I'll deal with her. You need not to worry." Without any other words, Chisaki continued forward.
The guy bowed once again.
(Name) glanced at the guy and followed Chisaki. When she brushed pass him, she felt this disturbing aura, something that made her heart skip a beat and her lips stretched to a grin.
She stopped quietly, just behind the guy. Chisaki and Kurono did not realize that (Name) stayed back and moved forward.
"You," she called silently.
The guy flinched and abruptly stood up, "y-yes?!" He exclaimed loudly, catching the attention of the two men beyond them.
"Met someone weird today?" (Name) asked and pointed to her eyes, "preferably someone with glasses?"
The guy raised a brow at (Name), unsure of what to say. At first he was confused to what she was talking about but whenhe gazed at her (eye color) orbs, he kissed his teeth and retraced his steps.
And then he remembered, that middle aged man at the store. "Someone grabbed me by the shoulders a few hours ago at the store. He talked about the better dollhouse," The guys started. "It was weird. He was looking intently at me."
(Name) smirked when she got her answer. She patted his shoulder, "seems like he got on you. Be careful," she said and brushed pass him completely.
The man turned his body as his gaze follow the lady that was walking away. Who is she? Who is 'he'?
His train of thoughts got cut off when he saw Chisaki wrap an arm around her shoulder. He scoffed, seems like the boss is into her. He thought and walked away.
