It's time for you to come home.
Luke said confidently, with a slight warning in his voice.
Be careful, young one. Sometimes enemies aren't always what they seem.I glanced up, mirroring his confidence in my own words.
As with allies.

I huffed as I made my way out of the shuttle, noticing numerous dent marks splayed across the hangar bay. My brows furrowed in confusion.
What happened here?
My head turned to the sound of General Hux strutting over to me, his arms drawn behind his back tightly.
"What happened, General?" I gritted through my teeth, aggravation lacing my tone. He narrowed his eyes, "A ship's cannons broke, causing it to emit random rapid-fire on the hangar." Hux announced, looking everywhere but my face.
I took in a deep breath, now significantly more frustrated than before. "What really happened here, General? This time don't lie." I spat, crossing my arms over my chest.Hux sighed in defeat, finally answering. "Y/n." He replied in a monotone voice, causing my eyes to widen. "There were two Resistance spies aboard, which we handled competently." Hux finished, with a slight look of apprehension on his face.
My breathing began to quicken.
Something was wrong.
"I advise you find her, Ren," Hux warned, walking away from me. As soon as he was gone, I reached out with the force to locate y/n.
She was by one of the windows, and her force signature was strong, but something felt off. I whipped off my mask, rushing down the halls in her direction.
I eventually found her, the sight twisting my stomach. She was crouched on the floor in what looked to be a very uncomfortable position, seeming like she was lost in thought. Her hair was messy, she had obviously been running her hands through it. Her heels and cape were nowhere to be seen.
My heartbeat sped up as she turned around to look at me.Tears shone in her eyes, causing them to appear glossy under the fluorescent hall lights. Her cheeks and nose were slightly pink, but her face seemed to be a void of emotion. All but her eyes. Her eyes were the giveaway. I couldn't get a single word out before she attacked me with a hug, stuffing her face into the fabric of my tunic.

I glanced up to see Kylo, who was staring down at my body with a bewildered expression. He seemed exhausted, and his hair was somewhat messy, much like mine. Normally I would be grinning, running my hands through it. I watched as his gaze wandered over my face.
I couldn't take it anymore. I rushed over to him, burying my face in his chest. I felt his arms wrap around me, slightly lifting me off of the ground as I dug my face into his clothed chest.
"Kylo." I whispered, causing him to pull away and look at me closer. "What happened?" He whispered, cupping my face in his hands. I looked away from his gaze.
"There was a spy. Leia sent him here, but just to collect intel." I responded quickly, watching his face go from confusion to urgency. "If that's the only reason, why are you so upset?" I closed my eyes, my decision made up. I couldn't tell him about the prophecy, so I decided to tell him something else.
Just like Master Luke & Leia, Kylo could easily tell when I was lying.
This would be easy for now, but how long could I lie to his face?
"I made friends with several stormtroopers, one of them being a Resistance spy. Obviously, I didn't know it at the time. Remember the day you saw us in the tie fighter?" I asked, almost smiling at the fond memory. He nodded, urging me to continue.
"AJ, as I called him, told me something," I muttered with a slight frown. He seemed worried. "What did he say, y/n?" He questioned, his arms still wrapped around me. "Look," I replied. I was uncomfortable and knew that it would be best if he saw it for himself. He nodded, hesitantly placing his fingers on my temples, causing me to shiver slightly.
A few seconds later, I saw it. The day I and AJ were in space together. I watched as the memory passed before our eyes. I wish so could look away. I felt as though I had to keep watching. I deserved to face the guilt of rewatching it.
I opened my eyes to see Kylo staring at me with a look of sorrow. But there was something else, too.
Was that jealousy?
By the time the memory had concluded, his countenance had significant changes. His once welcoming eyes were now clouded, and his lips were pursed. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked harshly, staring deep into my eyes. I felt small under his gaze, almost as if I was the spy which he was questioning. "I didn't want you to kill him!" I exclaimed, my heart beating faster. He looked away, almost as though confirming my statement.
"You know I didn't mean it like that," I whispered, overwhelmed. "Because I'm such a cold-blooded killer?" He retorted. Very mature. I rolled my eyes.
"I didn't want you to think that I loved him back! Today he kissed me, and I didn't kiss back! Do you know why? Because I love you!" I spoke, clutching onto the fabric of his tunic.
"I love you, Kylo. It's always been you."
"Not him?" He whispered, gazing down at me. I sighed. "Of course not." I sighed, tugging at the cloth, pulling his face to mine for a much-needed kiss. His lips moved in sync with mine, causing me to smile. Eventually, we broke away, catching our breath. He had a stern expression on his face as he pulled me close to his side.
"You're mine. Nobody else's. Mine only. Remember that." He whispered to me, pulling me further into his chest as he played with a strand of my hair.
Usually, I was comforted whenever he said something endearing like that, but for the first time, I almost felt trapped. I had this odd feeling of regret for not going with Hersh in the back of my mind, but I knew better.
But who did I really love?
Kylo Ren, or Ben Solo?
