Rodan X (F) Reader ~Complete!~

You still sat on the seat beside Madison, slightly kicking your feet worriedly. You knew that Madison was about to lose her mother already, but you couldn't bear the thought of losing Rodan either.

Loud noises made you stop for a moment, then you looked out the opening again. At the same time, you heard the rhythm of the Orca. Ghidorah was flying into a road, bringing down buildings as they aimed their Gravity Beams at... something...

"Madison..." You whispered to her. The short brown-haired girl turned her head to you. You pointed out at Ghidorah, who seemed to be chasing something—

—or someone.

"Mom..." Madison murmured in grief. She then stood from her spot and ran to the entrance as you followed and sat beside her. Soldiers started to notice you two and looked out the window as well, Mark himself included.

The space monster knocked down buildings with the power of their wings and shot their Gravity Beams at something in front of them. And after another blow by their Beams, they stopped in their place. The sounds of the Orca stopped, the target must've been exterminated already.

Madison knew this as well and broke into tears as she screamed her mother's name several times. You pulled her into a hug, joined by her father, Mark Russel. "Mom..." She whispered through her sobbing, stopping her grieving screams. The glass door closed over the Osprey's entrance.

Then, the sound of sudden footsteps grew louder and louder.

"What was that...?" You murmured. You turned your head to look out the glass again.

Holy mother of God...

It was Godzilla, standing tall as ever with scorching dorsals and an infuriated flare in his eyes. "What the hell happened to him?!" You asked in confusion and shock. You have never seen this form of Godzilla's before.

"Mothra... she must've given her energy to Godzilla when she died..." Madison guessed.

"Wow, I..." You were almost speechless, "I never thought of it that way."

"What, you think it's puberty, kid?" A white-haired but definitely not old man joked, (Dr. Rick lol) clearly proud of Godzilla's new and regal appearance. Thankfully, Emma Russell's sacrifice was not in vain. You had a laugh for a moment, and so did Madison. But then you heard the brown-haired girl whisper:

"Avenge my mother, Godzilla..."

You sighed quietly in sympathy, then looked out the window again. The Osprey had already flown far, so Godzilla and Ghidorah were distant beings from them. Godzilla's spikes glowed brighter than his entire body, then released a huge energy wave. You watched as Ghidorah's wings faded into ash as they stepped back defensively. Their Gravity Beams dealt nothing to Godzilla. The titan then released another energy wave, burning away two of their heads, leaving only the middle one, vulnerable and defenseless. He stomped on the remaining one as its own electricity fried its insides. Coincidentally, the dark skies parted as the blue sky revealed itself once again.

You knew what this was; this was a sign of victory.

You and the other members in the Osprey stared into the ruins of Boston. Godzilla and neither the last living one of Ghidorah's heads were found. Then, a pile of debris was knocked away as Godzilla rose out, shaking the last head in his jaws. There was blue light shining on his spikes again, signifying that he was about to use the Atomic Breath again. Then, he lifted his head and released it, burning away the head. For one second, you saw a bit of golden lightning flash in his mouth.

"Jesus, did he burp?" You joked, breaking the long silence in the Osprey. The soldiers started laughing and cheering, the false king was dead, but Madison wasn't paying attention.

"Look..."

Godzilla stood on a pile of junk and debris. Another ape-like titan with long tusks sticking out of his head approached him, you recognized this one as Titanus Behemoth. A spider kaiju with a nautilus shell on her back followed, this was Titanus Scylla. The next kaiju that came to confront him was the one you didn't know.

"Wait..." You murmured under your breath, "That's a Femuto! Didn't those things die back in San Francisco, 2014?"

"Yes," A Japanese woman answered you, "but we found out that there was another Muto. This one turned out to be the Queen of the Mutos. Monarch nicknames her 'Barb'."

"Thank you, Mrs..." You trailed off, realizing that you didn't know her. "Ilene," She answered, "Ilene Chen."

You nodded.

A giant mountain marched towards Godzilla as well. It took you a while to remember this one's name, then was able to identify him as Titanus Methuselah. You remembered that he was theorized to be a very old titan, also named for his assumed age. 

One last kaiju made its entrance directly down from the clouds.

Rodan!

Sparks flared out of the fresh stab in his shoulder. Madison had been right all along, Rodan was fine, but his wound still showed on him. The red kaiju stretched out his wings and roared at Godzilla. But the large lizard was unphased by Rodan's intimidation and stood tall, glaring him down.

Come on, Rodan, you encouraged quietly and determinedly, do the right thing before you get hurt...

Rodan stepped one footstep back, looking the alpha titan in the eyes. The other four Titans and the osprey passengers watched the silent tension. Rodan adjusted his wings and held his locked gaze with Godzilla firmly. Then, he bent his head down, spreading out his wings in the process. The Fire Demon had humbly submitted to the new alpha.

The other monsters momentarily bowed after Rodan as well, starting from Scylla and ending at Methuselah. Even the Queen MUTO bowed before Godzilla.

Good boy... you silently praised him, smiling faintly.
