Try to always be available but don't stop your entire life to be at the beck and call of your friends and family. While it is good to always be there for your loved one through heaven or hell, it's not good for your own personal growth to put your life in a state of stagnation for the sake of others. Always try to maintain the fragile balance between being always available and making sure your priorities are taken care of. It is undeniably difficult for most of us but through practice and discipline we can help others while avoiding any kind of disregard for our well being.
