Learn how to discern and separate feelings of love from feelings of attraction or sexual desire. A recurring problem that I have noticed in many kinds of relationship(boyfriend/girlfriend or all possible combination depending on gender, sexual preference or orientation , marriages ,casual ,one night stand ,booty calls ,etc.)is that a large portion of them are based on a very vague understanding of whether the other person has emotional connection with them(Love) or if it's possible that its just attraction(Lust and desire). this kind of knowledge is imperative in order to avoid wasting your time and more importantly avoid hurting your or the other person's feelings. communication about this matter is key to avoiding countless problems and misunderstandings in the future. So make sure you have your thoughts and feelings in order before you go and end up hurting someone in a completely avoidable manner.
