"Princess no..." JJ whispered, pushing her away lightly by the shoulder. Though she was firm with what she wanted as she stood glued to her place.

"This is what I want... I don't care what anyone thinks," She reassured, as he shook his head.

"No... I'm not worth it-"

"Says who?"

"Says everyone you deserve with a Prince... There's a reason why princesses don't marry knights,"

"I don't care... We can be the first, being with you the past month has changed my life. I love our long walks in the garden or our board game matches-"

"Princess I don't think you know what you're doing..."

"I know exactly what I'm doing," She reasoned, her voice becoming stern. "I've thought this through and this will work because I believe that it will,"

"No... No don't do this to me please I can't do this to you... Even if I wanted this I can't- I can't provide for you I'm no Prince,"

"I don't care if you're not a Prince what do you not understand about that!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air through frustration.

He broke their gaze and stared at the floor. She studied him and prayed that she made the right decision. She knew that if this didn't work out that things would be awkward between them.

He makes her feel like there is no one else in the world but them when they talk... Like there is nothing to worry about, no stress, nothing but them. He's the first person to ever make her feel this way.

"Screw it," His words caught her by surprise as he quickly smashed his lips to hers.

They fit in sync, his tasting of vanilla, and her tasting of strawberries. Sparks flew, as shivers danced up Y/N's spine. Everything at that moment clicked into place. As this time the Princess wasn't pushed back, thus they stayed in one another's arms.

The Knights around her waist, hers around his neck as she played with the nips of his hair. It was the perfect moment in time that they never wanted to end.

They were so close as their chests were touching, their foreheads still together. This caused their breath to fan each other's faces as their eyes remained locked.

"Don't cry," JJ whispered, whipping her tears away with the soft pad of his thumb.

"Was this the right decision? I don't want to force you-"

"It's alright to be scared," He reassured after shipping her tears away he cupped her jaw in his hand. "Stop worrying everything is going to be alright," He was still looking her in the eyes and could see how terrified she really was though there was another hidden emotion that he couldn't quite catch.

"How do you know that? What if we're making a mistake? Oh god, I'm stupid for even thinking that this could-" Although before the Princess could continue he cut her off with his lips.

"Y/N listen to me we made the right decision... And there is no going back now,"

"I'm just scared I-" Though the princess cut herself off by a wide smile forming across her lips. "You just called me Y/N... You called me Y/N!" Suddenly that's how she began jumping in and down in his arms through loud cheers.

She could hear his voice over and over again in her head saying her name. The Princess knew she was waiting for it for a reason... It was Greek god-like; it was utter perfection.

"Y/N what if someone hears you?" The blonde-haired knight questioned only causing her to cheer louder as he said her name again.

After a couple of seconds, she managed to calm herself down once again, as her breaths evened out. "There is no one in this section of the castle... No one should hear a thing," She reassured as he nodded. "It's only guest rooms, supply closets, and then my room of course," The princess still remained shaking with joy as this has been something she's been waiting for since she met the man over a month ago.

"You called me by my name," She whispered through a wide grin. "The only people who do that around here are my friends,"

"I know you hate being called princess but if someone was to hear me say your name it-"

"I understand," She murmured the grin still across her face. "So how are we going to make this work?" He shrugged his shoulders causing her to lead them over to the bed where they sat.

"I really like you... I'm just still scared to admit it," The knight scratched the back of his neck nervously as he turned back and glanced at the door making sure no one was there.

"No one will find out... It can't be that hard to keep it a secret," She reassured fingers tracing his jaw as she then used a little force to turn his head so that his face was no longer facing the doorway paranoid. "This will work... It has to work," At her last words, she was embracing him tightly causing him to return it.

After what felt like hours in one another's arms yet was really only minutes she glanced up from his chest and saw the knight deep in thought. "Are you still worrying?" It took her by surprise as he began to shake his head no almost immediately. "Then what?" Y/N became nervous as she began to think that he was regretting his decision.

The princess didn't know what the hell she would do if he was. She knew that all of this was a risk to begin with, though that once she got it out things would be easier. That she wouldn't have to hide her feelings... At least to him.

"I'm just wondering what I... A knight did deserve a princess," His words caused her to frown as she leaned up from his chest and looked him in the eyes so that they were level. Her arms were still wrapped around him tightly as now their faces were once again inches apart.

"You're perfect... You're selfless, you're willing to risk your life for money for your family... You would rather die than let one of us die and fail at doing our job and that is why my father chose you for this position and that is why I..." Y/N became choked up at the end as she glanced away from him. "That's why I became your friend and didn't push you away or be harsh with you like most princesses... It's the reason why I'm choosing right now to risk everything,"

"But I'm not perfect Y/N,"

"I will tell you a million times you are until you believe it... Because it is true whether you think so or not,"

"I don't deserve this I'm not royal,"

"Yes, you do... You deserve everything," She reassured pressing their foreheads together. "You make me feel a certain way JJ that no one has ever made me feel before," That's when their lips were suddenly locked as they rolled onto the bed together.

Once they pulled away for air, Y/N ended up with her back curled up against his chest as she was the small spoon to him the big one. He pulled the blankets up so that they were over them both causing the princess to smile.

"Stay here tonight?" She questioned his feeling as his breath hitched from behind her.

"I wish I could but... Someone will notice that I'm gone,"

"I'm sure a good excuse will make that go away easily," She reassured.

"What about your maid,"

"I told Kiara not to come in tomorrow," Y/N explained quickly.

"Are you sure?" He questioned causing her to turn around in his arms and look him in the eyes.

"Of course I am... Nothing is going to happen," She smiled through a wide grin. "It's just you and me... After all, I do still owe you for saving my life,"
