When Y/N awoke the next morning she was relieved that there was no Kiara screaming at her. Everything seemed to be the most peaceful it had been in a long time. Sun leaking through the curtains, and birds chirping outside.

Then there was JJ, who was fleeing soundlessly beside her. There was no longer pain in his eyes, no longer worry clouding his features. He was calm and peaceful looking, which caused a smile to form across her lips.

This man already meant so much to her and she hadn't even known him most of her life. The thought of him ever being upset caused her heart to split into two. Never in a million years would she have thought that she would have feelings for someone to this extent.

The princess didn't even realize that she had been moving the loose strands of hair away from his eyes. JJ's hair was soft as it glider through her fingers as she studied his features like his perfect jawline and long eyelash-

"You know it's rude to stare," JJ laughed, startling her as she let out a loud gasp.

"Sorry," She whispered as he only chuckled.

"I was kidding..." He reassured causing her to smile. "Good morning,"

"Good morning," Y/N signed, collapsing down back onto the head and into his arms as she let out a content sigh.

After a couple of minutes the worry of having to start the day soon sunk in. "I never want to move... This is perfect," She explained, causing the knight to wrap her tighter in his arms.

They both knew that all perfect moments come to an end, so they savored what they had going on every second together.

Though after her words, he flipped her over so that he was hovering over the princess causing her to giggle. As he began to pepper kisses down her neck and jaw.

Her laughs erupted in the room causing him to smirk into each kiss. "Stop... it tickles," She pleaded through laughs, only causing him to kiss her even more.

"You're rude," She murmured once he stopped and stared at her through a laugh.

"But you like me,"

"Doesn't matter,"

"Are you sure about that?" This just caused the princess to groan as JJ clasped down beside her and swung an arm over her body. "Let's sleep... Because you woke me up, you meanie,"

"Well you're rude so I guess we're even," And after that, neither of the Prince or the Princess remember falling asleep after that.

Y/N woke up having a sudden urge to pee. So like a normal person she was going to walk over to the bathroom connected to her room. Although JJ wasn't having any of that as he quickly made sure to pull her back into his arms every time she left them.

Each time she tried, the tighter his arms became. She knew that he was awake by the smirk forming across his lips.

"I just have to use the bathroom... I'll be right back," She reassured causing him to let out a pout as he never dared open his eyes.

"But... It's too cold," He pouted, only causing her to laugh.

"I'll be back before you know it you baby," Though his arms never loosened around her causing the princess to let out a sigh.

"JJ pleaseeeee!" She exclaimed l poking at his cheek. "Come on..." She began to poke at his cheek ever harder and fast though with no change and no reaction. "If you don't I'll pee on you,"

She doesn't think she ever saw his arms move faster.

Luckily after that Y/N was able to pee and slip back into bed in peace. As JJ was able to wrap her back up into his warm embrace.

"You took forever," He pouted causing Y/N to giggle.

"I'm back and you're still complaining," He nodded his head as he buried his face into the pillow. "Don't ever leave me again you're not allowed,"

"Oh really now?" At her words, JJ finally opened his eyes to meet hers as a goofy grin formed across his face fitting the goofy person that you'd never guess the knight was without fully meeting him.

"Yeah, you're not allowed it's a rule,"

"Says who?"

"Says me, of course, I am the ruler of the world,"

"If you're the ruler of the world then what does that make me?" She questioned causing him to think for a moment and then finally replied.

"My love," Thus it took another couple of seconds for the two of them to realize what had just been said again.

The L word was something that hadn't really been said yet. They both agreed that they didn't want to live too quickly with their relationship and fully realize their feelings before things were said.

"Listen Y/N I didn't mean it like that yet I don't wanna pressure you or-"

"No, it's alright... I understand," She reassured causing him to regain that beautiful smile of his.

Though he no longer held the smirk that she loved Y/N found it much more reliving to see him happy.

"Listen JJ I-" and suddenly that's when there was a knock at the door causing both of their eyes to widen in fear.

At first, Y/N thought that she had just imagined it, however, she then saw the look across JJ's face and knew that it in fact had been real. The princess wanted horribly to have time to think through for a plan of action and calm herself however everything in that moment began to collapse.

All of the circumstances, everything that would need to be hidden, where would JJ go, his clothes, armor- Three more knocks were placed against the door as the blonde-haired knight stared at the princess as if he were waiting for her to say something... After all, she knew her own room better than him.

"Grab all your clothes and hide in the closet-"

"What was that? Y/N I'm coming to get you because it's an hour before lunchtime," It was Kiara's voice heard through the door as the best friend mentally face palmed herself watching as JJ still didn't move.

He was terrified of making a noise. "Go!" Y/N exclaimed to him.

"Go where?" Kiara questioned through the door. "Listen I'm coming in-"

"I mean go away... Go away I want to sleep- I want to sleep," She tried to make it sound convincing though her voice cracked.

"Is everything alright?" Kiara questioned through the door. "Princess I'm becoming worried-"

"I want to sleep... Everything is not right I need my sleep," Y/N tried to explain though she started laughing at the end as she watched as the knight next to her tried to keep in his laughter.

"Are you sure? You don't sound alright? I'll be in for a quick second to-" And suddenly that's when the door began to open and Y/N panicked leaping up from the bed and taking the blankets with her.

She tried to sprint to the door only to get caught up in the blankets, tripping and falling onto the floor wrapped up in them as she let out a shriek still trying to reach out and close the door. "KIARA NO!" She shouted the loudest she had ever shouted.

Though it was too late, as Kiara walked into the room and witnessed a sight she never expected.
