Chapter 6: "Please, enlighten me."

   "Likewise. And no you were not intruding. You are going to have to know about these things anyway." said my dad with a nod. I think they got his approval. I made a mental fist pump.

   "I'm Draco. It is quite unfortunate that you lost your wife. I know I wouldn't be able to take it." said Draco taking the lead this time and patted my dad's shoulder.

   Then they just got into a conversation about business and I had no idea what they were talking about.

   Gosh, I wish I had my snacks with me. I'm so hungry. I want some fried chicken. Or maybe a burger. I want some chicken nuggets too... I wanna know what a taco tastes like. Why is guacamole called guacamole??

   "I- Are you seriously having these thoughts right now!?!" exclaimed Willow. Sheesh, they already got my dad's approval so it's good. She just grumbled and mumbled under her breath.

   After they were finally done talking, my dad excused us and told us to go home and get some rest. A farewell and a hug later, I walked out with Axel and Draco by my side.

   "You never told us you were a demon. How did we not smell it??" said Draco, with questioning eyes. I knew this question was coming. Honestly, I thought they already knew I was a demon.

   Draco smells of pure wolf and Axel smells like something like I've never smelled before. And no, I'm not talking about his mouth-watering scent.

   "Probably cause I haven't gotten my demon yet. Hey, I'm a werewolf too by the way." I said, nonchalantly. They had the most shocked face. I looked at them weirdly.

   "You do realize that hybrids are only 4% of the whole supernatural population right? Hybrids are really sought out for." said Axel, being smart. I looked at them.

   "Y'all gonna sell me for money or something?" I deadpanned. I didn't really mean it but it's fun teasing them. Why am I so mean?

   "No. Of course not. We would NEVER. I did not wait for my mate just to sell her." growled Draco. I stood up on my toes and patted his head.

   "There there. I'm just kidding. I know you guys wouldn't do that." I cooed. I then decided to address the elephant in the room. I whipped my head in Axel's direction and he flinched. I almost laughed but I decided to keep my straight face.

   "Axel, spill. You don't smell like a wolf. What are you?" I asked, going straight in for the kill. He nervously scratched the back of his neck. Hmm. How suspicious.

   "Well...um. I'm a REALLY ancient dragon. Like really, really ancient." he said, nervously. I just stared at him. He gulped. Why is everyone so scared of me? Sheesh.

   "Oh my gosh! That's so cool! Can you turn into a dragon? What element do you breathe?? Can we fly together someday???" I said, bombarding him with questions. He just looked at me confused like I had a third eye.

   "He's really old by the way. Like a couple of thousand years old." said Draco, shrugging. Wait. What? He already knew?!?! Draco already knew but they didn't bother to tell me??! I feel late.

   "Yeah about that. You sure you wanna be with an old man?" said Axel, still nervous. Wow. What a sight to see. A really ancient dragon acting nervous. If I told Felix he probably would just laugh at me.

   "I mean, I'm fine with it. You still look really hot." I said. Then I realized something. Did I seriously just say out loud that he was hot? Kill me, please. How embarrassing.

   "Oh? You think I'm hot?" said Axel, teasingly. My face flushed. Could the ground please just open up and swallow me?

   "Ugh. Yes alright fine. You're hot. Spicy hot." I said still embarrassed. He looked so proud of himself. That's so precious. Most of my embarrassment disappeared at that.

   "What about me?" asked Draco, with puppy dog eyes. My heart melted. It's gonna be so hard to give each of them equal amounts of love.

   "Yes, you're hot too. Don't worry I didn't forget about you." I said, patting his head once again. I need to ask what shampoo he uses. His hair is really soft.

   After arriving home under Draco and Axel's watchful eyes, I took a shower to wash away today. I then remembered I was hungry and so I made myself some mac and cheese.

   I heard a click of the door opening and someone walking in. My senses heightened and I was on edge. I just want to enjoy my food in peace. Is that too much to ask for? Way to ruin the evening.

   "Femi? Ya home?" said a familiar voice that I know belongs to no one other than my best friend. He walked into the kitchen then just saw me eating my good old mac and cheese. This stuff is really good.

   "You scared the heck out of me. I thought someone came to rob our house." I said calmly, continuing to eat my mac and cheese. He looked at me weird.

   "You should be more careful when that happens. Not just sit there eating your food calmly." said Felix, throwing his hands up in the air dramatically.

   "I was on edge and plus my senses heightened. Did you want me to pull a Rapunzel on the victim or something?" I said, this time throwing my hands up in the air. He looked thoughtful.

   "Yes actually. Anything that prevents our house from getting robbed." he said shrugging. I just rolled my eyes.

   I was done with my mac and cheese so I washed the bowl and went to watch some TV. I saw Felix grab a snack out of the cupboards and proceeded to eat it while making his way over to me.

   "So how was it?" he asked.

   "It was interesting, to say the least." I said, after putting some thought into it. He nodded.

   "Please, enlighten me." he said. And so I did indeed enlighten him about the whole death anniversary situation that happened. I told him about inviting Axel and Draco and how it all went down.

   Felix was shocked. Partly because I have two mates and partly because he knows how my dad is and honestly, I'm shocked too. I didn't expect my dad to accept them so easily. It was a relief he accepted them though. I would've hated to end things on a bad note with my dad.
