"Hah, these idiots."

The trees swayed along with the winds. Zariah Jalahad was choking a student on the ground then sliced its neck with the toy blade she was armed with.

Mabilis itong gumalaw at iniwasan ang ilang mga studyanteng nagtangkang tirahin ito. Just as she was about to attack the remaining two, the enemies were shot from afar.

"Shit! Sniper!" sigaw nung isa at nagsi-atrasan ang iilan.

They were too late to escape when a bunch of students ambushed them from behind. They were the other defense troops in the area. They were quick to act and decided to simultaneously surprise the enemy from behind.

"Tsk. You guys are dead," murmured Zariah wearing cold eyes as she locked her eyes on someone.

Mabilis itong umatake sa lalakeng tumatakbo papalayo sa kanya. They were jumping and sprinting as they chased each other.

Zariah made a quick leap and jump from behind the guy. The kill was quick and the second thing the guy knew was a large paint mark on his back.

"Damn, you got me."

Agad namang umalis si Zariah roon at lumapit sa mga nagkukumpulang mga kakampi nito.

"We caught one," said Lorenzo with dead eyes.

"A hostage, huh?" Zariah asked.

"Let's have him spill some beans later," said another guy and drag the caught enemy back to base.

Nang nakabalik na sila Zariah sa base ay napalapit naman ang isang babae sa kanya.

"Did you get hurt?"

".....why are you talking to me Elise?--And no, I'm not hurt."

Elise's face went into a tender yet sad one.

"Zariah--"

"I'm not asking for an apology. I will never ask for one, Elise. I know what I did."

"Wait--"

Zariah turned her back away from Elise and went straight to one of her team. Elise sighed and walked away too.

"Zariah, magkakilala pala kayo ni Elise?" tanong ni Vien matapos makita ang nangyari kanina. As a Feign, she was good at reading the atmosphere, what added to her curiosity was Zariah and Elise's conversation. Vien was good at lip reading so she knew what they were talking about.

"That doesn't matter right now. Sabihan mo si Hanz na maghanda. There's a possibility that enemies will attack this place."

Umalis kaagad si Zariah at naiwan na lamang si Vien sa kinatatayuan niya. Vien immediately went to Hanz and informed him.

Everything became hectic. Because of the sudden attack of the enemy teams, they were force to migrate to another place. The event had started to get real serious. There has been sightings of combined teams in different parts of the territory.
