"I told you it would not be enough!" Polnareff laughed again before smirking. "What happened? How is he not injured?" "Polnareff's  stand wasn't affected; only his armor. His stand has shed its armor." "That means it's vulnerable, right? That's a good thing!" "Oui! Precisely, Mademoiselle (Y/N). But let me show you something that will blow your socks off." Everyone's eyes widened, and you stared at him confused. "W-what? His stand just created 6- no 7 duplicates!" Mr. Joestar stated and your eyes widened. "Is that even possible?" "These are afterimages. They'll confuse not just your sight, but all of your senses. You don't stand a chance." Avdol was visibly shaken. "How do you like my swordsmanship now?!" Polnareff screamed. "Crossfire Hurricane!" "He's just wasting energy right now." Come on, Avdol! "Non, non, non, non! That was an afterimage! That attack will never work on my Stand!" Polnareff yelled when all of a sudden Avdol began bleeding. "Was he hit?!" "I'm sure he's okay, (Y/N)." Kakyoin gives you a small smile. "I've trained 10 years for personal reasons. My next move will finish you off." "You are very chivalrous to reveal your next move. Therefore, I will also reveal my next move." "Oh?" "I have several variations of Crossfire Hurricane. I am capable of separating it and send individual pieces flying. Crossfire Hurricane Special!" "They formed a circle!" "There's no opening!" "Naive, naive, naive!" You held you breath in anticipation. "What?" The ground in front of Polnareff exploded and he was sent flying backwards; he landed on the ground engulfed in flames. You released the breath you were holding but couldn't help but feel bad for the French man. "That's the hole in the ground I made earlier." "Then those attacks were just a distraction so he could send his attack underground." Mr. Joestar explained. "I told you I could independently control my flames. Avdol stood up and pulled a knife out of his robes. You turned and buried your face into Jotaro's arm. "I don't think I can watch this." You muttered. You waited for the sound of the knife to cut through flesh but was only met with silence. After a few moments, you heard a snap and you turned your face a little to see what happened. You noticed Polnareff was no longer burning and the knife was lying on the floor. "You could have thrown the knife at me when my back was turned, but you didn't. That makes you honorable." Avdol states and Polnareff passes out. "Is he dead?" "No, just unconscious." You released your grip on Jotaro and the group walked to the man; Avdol pulled back his hair and found a flesh bud attached to his forehead. Jotaro kneeled down and began removing the flesh bud. "Ah the tentacles! That's so sick!" Mr. Joestar yelled and you had to look away. "Gross." Once extracted, it was turned to dust by the sun. "Well, that was eventful. Alright group! We have a boat to catch!" Mr. Joestar stated before turning around and walking off.

Down at the docks, you looked up at the big boat. "Wow! It's so big!" "The crew has been vetted by the Speedwagon Foundation and there won't be any other passengers if we run into another enemy stand user." You heard someone clear their throat and you turned to see Polnareff standing there. Jotaro moved closer to you and everyone was tense; Polnareff put his hands up in front of him. "I'm not here to hurt you. I just wanted to say thank you for freeing me. Mr. Joestar, can I ask a bizarre question?" "A bizarre question? Sure." "Do you have two right hands?" You were confused at the odd question. "Two right hands? That is indeed a bizarre question. But no I do not." He stated as he removed his glove and showed a robotic hand. You stared at his hand in shock. "I lost it in a battle 50 years ago." "I'm sorry for the rude question. You see, my younger sister was murdered by a man with two right hands. And I believe that if I find Dio, I will be able to find that man. So I ask that you allow me to join you." Everyone looked at each other. "I don't have a problem." "Me neither." "Good grief." "Then it's settled! Welcome to-" "Can you take our picture? Over by the ocean?" Mr. Joestar was interrupted by two girls who had approached Jotaro and were blushing. You rolled your eyes and Jotaro huffed. "You're fucking annoying." "Jotaro! That is no way to talk to a woman! I will take your photo! And with killer legs like that, I'll make sure to include them in the photo!" Polnareff interrupted and guided the women towards the water. "What a mood swing." "Perv." You muttered and Jotaro chuckled a little. It was the first time you heard him somewhat laugh. Avdol and Mr. Joestar headed to the boat. "Alright, Romeo! We have a boat to catch." You yelled out and the group loaded onto the boat. You smiled and took a seat on one of the lounge chairs on the deck while Jotaro took the seat on your left and Kakyoin took the one on your right. The ship left the dock and you watched as the city got smaller and smaller. "We should arrive in Egypt in a few days so we'll be able to relax for a little bit. But don't you want to change out of your school uniforms?" You looked to your left then right and noticed that neither Jotaro or Kakyoin had changed out of their uniform but Mr. Joestar was now wearing a tank top. "We are school students so it's only appropriate that we wear our uniform." Kakyoin replied. "(Y/N) isn't wearing her uniform." "It's dirty." Mr. Joestar went to reply when you heard yelling. "Let go of me!" "Well what do we have here? A stowaway?" "Let me go! I'll fight you!" "Oh really? Then I'll turn you into the naval police!" You saw a crewman holding a young boy by his shirt collar. "No please don't! I'm just trying to get to my dad in Singapore! I'll work for my passage!" "What is this? We were told that we wouldn't have any other passengers." "It's just a stowaway, sir. But the captain is very strict about stowaways so I'll be taking him to the captain." The crewman gripped the kid harder and you frowned. You stood up and walked over to them. "You're hurting the kid." The crewman stared at you. "He's fine. And soon he won't be anyone's problem." You crossed your arm. "It's still a child. And I don't like the way you're hurting him." The crewman sneered at you. "If we're gonna have a problem, then I'll have no problem going above you to file a complaint. And then you'll be shit out of luck trying to find another job." The guy glared at you but before he could respond, the kid bit his arm, fell out of his grip, and jumped overboard. You ran to railing and tried to catch him but you moved too fast and the force sent you overboard. "(Y/N)!" The group yelled as you hit the water. You surfaced and looked around you to see the kid trying to swim to land. "Damn it, kid. Hey! Get back here! It's too far!" You yelled as you swam after them. "We're too far from shore. They'll drown." "That's the least of their problems. These are shark infested waters!" Polnareff, Avdol, and Mr. Joestar looked at each other before yelling. "(Y/N) come back! There's sharks!" "(Y/N)!" You heard faint yelling but you couldn't process what they were saying. You saw a fin surface and it was heading straight for the kid. "Oh shit! Kid look out!" You swam faster but the shark had already breached and was about to attack the kid, when it was launched into the air by an invisible force. You grabbed the kid and tried to kick away when you were grabbed. You panicked and tried to fight off the person. "Good grief, (Y/N). Damn it, stop already." You looked over your shoulder and saw that it was Jotaro. "Oh thank god. I really thought we were goners." Jotaro rolled his eyes and started swimming back to the boat. He suddenly stopped and pulled the kid away from you. "Jojo! What are you doing?" He patted the front of the boy's shirt before flicking the hat off to reveal long brown hair. Your eyes widened. "You're a girl!" You then shifted your gaze to Jotaro. "What the hell are you doing patting her chest like that, Jojo!" You yelled as you repeatedly hit him. "Ow, stop! Oi!" He grabbed one of your arms. You raised the other to hit him again but stopped when you saw a shadow moving towards you. "Umm Jojo? We need to move. Now!" He grabbed you and started swimming and you made sure to grab the girl. The shadow was approaching fast. "We're not gonna make it!" You stated before you were launched out of the air and placed on the deck. You fell back, closed your eyes, and took several deep breaths. "Are you okay?" "Mademoiselle, are you hurt?" "What the hell were you thinking?" You opened your eyes and saw a very pissed off Jotaro standing over you. "I didn't do it on purpose!" "You could have gotten hurt." "But I didn't! Thanks by the way." You sat up and he walked away, lighting a cigarette. You looked around until you saw the girl standing a little bit away from the group. "That was a stand for sure." "An aquatic stand. I've never seen one!" "Then the user has to be on the boat." "But everyone on board has been vetted." Everyone stopped and turned to look at the girl. "Well there's one way to find out." You looked up at Avdol. "How's Dio doing?" The girl glared back at the group. "I don't know what just happened or who Dio is! But do you want to fight? I'll take you all on! Let's Go! One-on-one!" She said and pulled out a knife from her overalls. You stared dumbfounded at the girl. "Guys, I don't know much about stands but there's no way it's her." They continued to stare at her until she was roughly grabbed and dropped the knife. "You found the stowaway! I'm sorry about all this. She'll be thrown into the brig until we land." You frowned and stood up. "Captain, she's just a kid." He looked at you. "No offense, miss. But if I'm lenient to one, they'll all take their chances. And I can't have that." He said and turned to walk away but grabbed Jotaro's cigarette out of his hand. "And no smoking! What we're you gonna do when you were done, huh? Throw it into those pristine waters?" Jotaro gave a 'tch' before adjusting his hat. "The captain is the stand user." "Hey, Jotaro! You can just accuse someone like that!" "Where's your proof?" "I've learned how to identify them. Whenever a user inhales cigarette smoke, a vein in their nose becomes visible." You watched as everyone in the group except you and the girl covered their nose. "Oh my god." You muttered and everyone looked at the captain in shock. The captain chuckled and dropped the kid, who ran over to your side. You looked down at the girl. "What's your name?" "Anne." "I'm (Y/N). It's nice to meet you! These are my friends and I'm sure it's confusing right now but I just ask that you trust us to get out of this situation." You gave her a gentle smile before turning back to the man in front of you. "Is that true?" "No. I lied." Mr. Joestar was stunned. "But I planned on doing that for every crew member. He just happened to be the first idiot who fell for it." The captain gave a chuckled. "Are you even the real Captain?" "No, im not. The real captain is swimming with the fishes at the bottom of the Hong Kong port." You felt something grab you and yank you over to the railing. You fought against it and tried to break free but their grip only tightened; you gasped and found it getting harder to breathe. The captain was now standing on the railing beside you. "Behold my beautiful stand: Dark Blue Moon!" He continued to rant but you were focusing on how to get out of its grip. You growled in frustration and looked over at the captain before swinging your fists at him. "Hey, stop that!" Your arms were pinned down but you didn't give up. You shifted your weight onto the stand behind you and kicked the captain as hard as you could, nailing him right in the shin. He yelled and gripped his leg. He growled at you before grabbing your hair and yanking your head back. "You little bitch. You're gonna pay for that one." He said before jumping into the water, taking you with him.
