When you turn 16 you have a soulmate. Whenever you draw on your skin it appears on your soulmate's body.
"Happy birthday to you!" Your family and friends finished singing you blew the candles and smiled they all clapped. "Y/n what did you wish for?" Your friend asked you "I can't say! It won't come true!" You laughed she crossed her arms "darn it your right!" She said 'I wish I'll find my soulmate.' You thought to yourself your parents cut the strawberry cake and you ate some of it and it was amazing.
"Y/n since your finally 16 you should ask your soulmate something!" Your friend said while the other one looked over at you. "Do you think it's actually gonna work?" You said looking at your friends "our soulmates wrote back give it a shot!" Your friends both said one of them tossed you the marker and you opened the marker looking at it. You then pressed the tip of the marker on your arm and began to draw a heart on your skin.

"I don't think he's gonna respond" your friends laughed. "Ya know it takes time for them to respond" you looked at them both "yeah I guess your right." You we're now watching YouTube with your friends waiting for your soulmate to reply but there wasn't a single mark on your arm. "Hey has he replied yet?" Your friend yawned while the other one looked at your arm you looked at your arm and frowned. "No, maybe he doesn't like me." You said sadly your friends tried to cheer you up "hey don't be like that! I'm sure he'll respond!" You stared at your arm more than saw the heart was going away "guys why is it fading away?" You said confused they looked at your arm and the heart was gone one of your friends was pissed. "How dare he erase the heart you drew! He has no soul!" Your other friend tried to calm her down but she got more mad "h-he erased it?" You got even sadder and your friends looked at you. "No, I'm sure that's not it!" They said.
✿ Killuas P.O.V ✿
"Hmm what the heck is this" I looked at my arm and I saw a heart? Gon looked over at me then looked at my arm "oh your soulmate you should reply back!!" Gon said smiling I blushed "no way this is dumb!" I said as I continued my drawing Gon frowned. "Come on at least write something back" I grabbed my eraser and erased the dumb heart on my arm harshly. "Hey, Killua!" Gon said grabbing the eraser from me "what." I said Gon sighed "you'll hurt her feelings!" I facepalmed "it's just a dumb heart she's not gonna care." I then felt bad and I looked out the window.

"Killua!" You said tackling your best friend from behind he blushed when he saw it was you "hey." You sighed then look at your arm with an upset look on your face "what's wrong?" He said looking at you worriedly "my soulmate." He looked at you confused "oh you have a soulmate?" You nodded "yeah but they won't respond back" he looked at his arm. "Pffttt my soulmate just draws childish stuff" he laughed then put his hands in his pockets you looked at Killua shocked. "Killua you have a soulmate?!" You said surprised "yeah I do. What's with that reaction?" you laughed " I never would have thought you would have a soulmate!" He blushed at your response then looked away from you "whatever shaddup!" He said. "By the way how was your birthday yesterday?" He asked "it was ok I guess" he frowned "ehhh? What kinda response is that!" You laughed "when did you get your soulmate Killua?" You said curiously "I got mine around 3 am it was kinda weird," he said looking back at his arm "oh did you respond to them at all?" He sighed "Nah I'm not really into mushy romance stuff so I didn't respond I'm not planning on responding to my soulmate anyways she seems childish." You had an upset look on your face and he realized what he said was harsh he felt bad. "Well, I mean-" he began. "Killua you should respond to her! You don't understand how she feels right now... maybe she's hurt or overthinking that she's not good enough. Respond to her you're so mean how could you do that!" You said upset he looked at you shocked by what you said the bell rang and you went to class.
