When paths meet (Jon Rua x reader)

Jon's p.o.v

It had been a week or so since Jon and y/n's date, and he couldn't be happier. They had hung out multiple times since, and every time it seemed as though they were getting to know every bit of each others lives.

Jon had taken her on two additional dates, both of them being just as amazing as the first. And he was already head over heels for her.

And so, when her first rehearsal came up, he decided to go and visit her after... And maybe watch her perform.

He stopped by magnolias first and grabbed her some banana bread and her favorite drink before going to the schools auditorium. He snuck through the doors and sat in the middle of the seats. Somewhere where he couldn't be seen. He looked around and saw a majority of the theatre students sitting in clusters all over, and they were talking quietly as the director talked to the leads on the stage.

His gaze turned towards the stage, and he blushed A bit as he saw y/n. She had a wide smile on her face, and she looked really excited. There was a rosy tint to her cheeks as she started to talk excitedly to the director. About what, Jon didnt know. All he did know was that she was absolutely gorgeous in that moment. He couldn't help but take a picture, and so he took out his phone and snapped one quickly. At that moment, he ended up getting a text from thayne. He opened it and raised an eyebrow.

Thayne: bro! Where are you? You just dissapeared from the apartment without saying anything.

He laughed quietly before responding.

Jon: hey! Im sorry- im at the University auditorium watching y/n's first rehearsal.

Thayne: wouldn't that be boring though...?

Jon: not really.. Especially since its h e r.

Thayne: jesus- you're always talking about her!

Jon: i know! But I can't help it... I think i'm in love..

Thayne: ooOoooOOoOooh! Imma be the best man at your wedding.. Right..?

Jon: we're not at that point right now.. C a l m down.

Thayne: sorry- y'all are just so cute.

Jon: i- prove it.

Thayne: b e t

Thayne then sent a few photos. Each photo was of Jon and y/n either holding hands or cuddling.

Jon: I stg if you send those to anyone i am going to hurt you-

Thayne: don't worry- i won't... 👀

Jon: I'm worried now-

Thayne: fine- fine.. I'll delete them.

Jon: thank you.

He looked up from his phone and smiled warmly. Y/n was currently getting measured for her costume, and as she did she was warming up.

"Many mumbling mice.. Are making midnight music in the moonlight.. Mighty nice..." She sang and smiled.

He looked at her with a look of pure love before noticing something in the corner of his eye. He looked to the side, and saw that someone else had walked in. The person was wearing a dark hoodie and he couldn't see his face.
