Toshinori looks at him silently, allowing Bakugou to speak and pour his words out.

"That bastard doesn't realize how special he is. Must've been part of his upbringing. Even now, where he's advanced so far." Bakugou scoffed, his eyes still fixated on Midoriya. "It used to annoy the hell out of me.. so much that I wanted to keep my distance from him." Bakugou sighed sharply before leaning forward, his arms resting on his knees in a relaxed manner. "I pushed back my own feelings of weaknesses, and I bullied him for it."

Bakugou blinked hard, feeling the words that weighed his chest down go, "he's working hard, huh?"

Toshinori sighed, "Float is similar to Zero Gravity, in that they both suspend one's body midair.." Toshinori pauses to take a seat next to Bakugou. "Now he knows two of OFA quirks, but he still can't use them properly."

Bakugou scoffed, "so he's like (Name) now? A house of quirks?" Bakugou looked over to Toshinori with a confused gaze. His hands still on his laps relaxed, "so what now if he learns magic? Don't tell me he's gonna get stronger than that."

Toshinori sighed, "Well. I guess so."

Bakugou just laughed, "fucking hell. I'll beat him anyways."

"Language, young Bakugou."

Everyone did as told and trained—all with different motives. Time went by really fast and before they knew it, it was already lunch break.

The usual squads broke out and headed to the cafeteria for lunch.

"How was Ataeru-san, Midoriya? Is he well?" Asked Iida before taking a bite of his meal.

"He is doing alright.." Midoriya replied. "But he did sound very down this morning during breakfast."

"Oh really?" Iida turned to him. "How so?"

"He just felt.." Midoriya paused, trying to find the right words to describe the male. "...he felt off. Like, it's supposed to be a sad day but you're smiling. Do you get what I mean?"

Iida stares at him for a quick second before nodding, "yes. I can see where you're coming from."

"(Name) said it was his sister's birthday today," Todoroki intervenes, causing for the two head to snap toward his direction. "They must not be in good terms."

Midoriya sighed and Iida nodded, "I assume so."

Ataeru's flushed cheeks stretched to a grin, "you know what? (Name)'s helping me a lot recently.." He sighed.

The wind rustled and and the trees swayed, hitting the windows loudly. Ataeru sat on the floor, unbothered by the fact that he was wearing an expensive suit.

"It took a lot of courage to come here..I really didn't know how to bring myself to visit you, Xhoia." He raises his hand with the canned beer, as if toasting to the air.

He stared at the niche in front of him. Forcing out a  smile, or just something positive to not let the tears fall.

He took another sip of his canned beer, "sorry if I didn't visit for what? 18 years?" He forced out a laugh, "I was so powerless back then..I wasn't allowed to visit you." He smiled painfully.

The halls were quiet for no one else was there but him. He sat on the cement floors, even though they provided seats—the seats were too far from Xhoia's niche, and Ataeru wanted to be closer.

"They still blame me you know," Ataeru laughed once again, holding back the tears that are threatening to fall at this very moment. He felt his heart stuffy, causing him to scoff, "I still blame myself.."

"I told you so many damn times not to wear it but you insisted, now look at where you are.." Ataeru tried to ligh it off, but he just can't. "Fucking burned in flames."

Now, the tears came and he didn't hesitate to let them fall. His grip on his beer tightened, causing it to splash all over his suit. He couldn't care less, he needed it out.

"I," Ataeru tries to find his words.. "I kept thinking," he looked up from him lap to her engraved name. "I kept thinking that maybe if I did this instead of that, if I bought this instead of that, if I went that whay instead of this way, maybe.." Ataeru wiped the tears off his eyes with the back of his palms, "then maybe you'd be with me right now you know? Then maybe you would have met (Name)."

Ataeru scoffed, "you'd like (Name) very much. The two of you are polar opposites, but I can tell you two would completely get along."

"You'd be with me through all the adventures you deserved to go. You deserved to be here, Xhoia.." Ataeru sobbed. The next words squeezed his heart tightly, "..not me."

He fell silent once again, his breathing heavy as he tried to compose himself. Ataeru's gaze fell down on his lap once again, watching every tear from his eyes pool his bottoms. "I am who I am because of her and her mother.." Ataeru smiled, "so..I don't know.. thank them. If you see Seraphim up there, tell her I said 'hi'.."

"I feel so fucking guilty—for everything. I didn't even tell (Name) what happened," He cuts himself off with a scoff, "knowing that girl, she should have known, but she kept quiet about it.."

"If it wasn't for her, then I wouldn't have the chance to visit you, Xhoia.." Remembering the means and ways he had to do to get his ban lifted, his hands gripped his knees in anger. "They're all disgusting, I threw them a big amount of money just to lift the ban. Is that all you're meant to them? A million dollars? That's it?"

He could feel his nails dig into his knees, now also feeling the sting. "I—" He lifts his gaze up and looked at her name.

Ataeru lifts his hands and dusted the small niche clean with his bare hands, "they didn't even take care of you.." Ataeru bit his lip, "I'll bring you somewhere better.."

"It doesn't mean I can't take care of you even if you're not in this life anymore," Ataeru's gripped the wall to the best he can, "and they will pay for what they did to you. They think I didn't know?!"

"They think I didn't fucking know?!" To whatever he could grab within his range, he through it far in anger, which was his empty can of beer.

"They let you die, and burn in flames. They WATCHED you combust, I—I—I—" Ataeru chocked on his tears. "If only I had a water quirk, or a useful quirk in general, then maybe I could have saved you.."

"Xhoia," Ataeru called to no one. "As much as I blame myself, they have to pay. I, I, I..I'm so damn sorry, Xhoia. Fuck.." Ataeru chokes on his own words.

It's been 18 years since the death of Xhoia (Last Name). The death was caused by an accident, made by one of Ataeru's early inventions.
