Akaashi looked up from his phone to see Kata playing with a little boy with blonde hair, she flashed a smile at her older brother and continued playing with the unnamed boy.

Akaashi's phone was off next to him on the wood bench but yet an energy still flowed from it, an energy that made Akaashi's heart ache. How could someone care that much?

"Kata! We should head home now, Yuichi will be mad if we aren't home when mom comes home." Akaashi yelled out to get the little ravenettes attention.

"But Keiji! Yuichi is a meanie and he hurts you!" Kata fussed as Akaashi grabbed her coat and slipped it on her.

"I know, but he might hurt me even more if we don't head home." Akaashi said with a forced smile on his face. Kata didn't respond but rather grumbled and walked in the direction of their home.

The boys heart continued to flutter until he arrived home, going straight up to his room as Yuichi started yelling at him, Kata scurried off to her room as well.

Akaashi found his way to his futon and laid down, staring at his beige ceiling. His hand unconscious clenched his phone that not even 20 minutes earlier made him feel the way he currently does.

"Why did you do this to me Bokuto." He said is a whisper, not fully understanding why he said it or what it meant, only knowing there was an unfamiliar sensation running through him, making him want to laugh, cry, throw up, punch someone, kiss someone.

The moment was ruined when a boy with dark brown hair burst into his room and started screaming. A normal Saturday morning.
