"Now let's get this festival started!" Midnight told us all as we head to the entrance of the track.
On our way to the track, Todoroki stopped Deku and I to pull us to the side, "I believe that I'm stronger than you both, so just know that I'll beat you, and I'm not holding back" Todoroki told us. Deku calmly responded, "Well, I also believe that in most ways you are stronger than me, but I don't think Faith is less than us".
"I don't have full control over my powers yet, but I'm still gonna try. You have no right to belittle Deku or me. Especially because of your father." I said and turned around to leave.
Todoroki stopped me "How do you know about my Father?" He asked.
I smiled. "I have my ways." I said, and left. We had walked through the tunnel. Our class was up front. I didn't know how badly I had riled up Todoroki, he was MAD.
"And....go!!" Midnight announced. Then suddenly, ice appeared on the ground.
I close my eyes and remember my training session with Dabi last night. I can hear him cheering me on. "Work harder! You've got it, way to go!"
"I've got this!!" I said and use my wind to propel myself across the ice. Half of the class had already made it across. "ROBOTS!" Mic yelled. I stared in disbelief. Todoroki had used his ice to hold the robots in place. They looked like they might topple over at any moment.
"You said your wind was good, right Anderson? Make sure they don't crush someone." Todoroki taunted as he rushed past the robots, Bakugo not far behind.
"Can you try to use your wind to stabilize them?" Ochaco said from beside me. I looked back at him wide eyed. "I don't know. I can try."
Dabi's encouraging words lingered in my head. I took a deep breath. "I'll do it!" I said as I raise my hand and push the robots to the sides of the pass.
One robot hit Kirishima. Only I noticed, because I had stopped and everyone else had already passed. "Kiri!", I yelled as I ran to the robot, just as Kiri managed to break free. He turned to me and grinned at me. "I'm alright!!" He said. Together we ran forward to the next stage of the Obstacle course.
