"I need to go hit something"

That something would be a poor tree. And now my knuckles are all bloody.

You know what I can't do this. My attempted assault, Ben's death, kissing Nick, and then losing Nick too.

All within a week of each other.

Am I expected to be okay with all of that.

I hate this.

I start punching the crap out of the tree, to the point where my knuckles definitely broke, but I didn't really care anymore.

The guys and Teresa run up to me, finding me sobbing on the floor with an extremely bloody hand.

"Wow, you weren't kidding when you said you wanted to hit something." Says Minho looking down at me.

"Are you alright?" Asks Newt, grabbing my arm to check my hand.

What do you think?

"Is it bro—"

"I'm fine!" I yell quickly, yanking my arm back from him.

"I'm fine" I whisper. And then I get up and walk away.

Gally runs up in front of me.

"Belle you're not in your right state of mind. Your knuckles are already broken, and I'm not gonna let you hurt yourself more" he says.

"I can do whatever I want! I don't need you guys on suicide watch!" I argue.

"Come on Belle. We're just trying to stop you from doing something you'll regret" says Newt.

"Who says I'll regret anything?!" I say angrily.

"Your friends." Says Teresa, gently.

"We're all dead anyways" I say back, monotone.

"There's no way out of this shucking place" I continue.

"Just don't leave. Okay Bells?" Asks Gally, still right in front of me.

"Guys I'm not gonna kill myself. I just want to be alone okay?" Everyone shakes their head.

"Well who are you to stop me. I can outrun you anyways" I say, staring Gally in the eyes.

"Sure you can outrun that shank. But can you outrun Thomas or me?" Asks Minho.

I glare at him.

All of a sudden, Teresa grabs me and pins me to the tree.

"Listen Anna. They just want to help. They're worried. I'm worried." She says.

Anna

"You don't call me that" I say darkly, flipping it around so that she's against the wall.

"Anna. You're hurting me!" She screams out, talking about how hard I'm pushing her into the tree.

But I tune it out and don't stop.

Then, something hits me. And then the world goes black.

Gally's POV:

I hated seeing her like this. We really broke her.

She's normally a pretty cheery person. I hope she's okay.

Minho had to knock her out to keep her from hurting Teresa.

The med-jacks took her.

"What was that about!" She asks, breathlessly.

"Nick was the only one who called her Anna until you showed up at least." says Newt.

"And you didn't think to tell me that before I tried to calm her down? You've heard me call her Anna before." She says.

He puts his hands up in defense.

"God. She took Nick's death hard." Says Thomas.

"They were really close. He was the first person she'd ever met. Plus he did say I love you to her right before he died, so that could've added to it" says Newt.

"Nick had a huge crush on her." Says Thomas.

Minho scoffs. "Like you don't, Thomas" he says.

"Well I didn't kiss her." Replies Tommy.

"Wait Nick kissed Anna" asks Newt.

"Well in the maze, he'd just professed his love for her, and he was about to die sooo..." says Minho.

"So she let him do it out of pity?" I ask.

"Who knows. The girl's confusing." He replies.
