She's a Runner

Annabelle's POV:

I'm in one of my own dreams or memories again I guess.

"Hey hey hey. It's gonna be ok" says Teresa, comfortingly, hugging past me, while simply holding me back.

"No please you can't do this! He doesn't deserve this" past me says pleadingly.

"Sorry Belle, Subject A4 was always intended to be among the first to enter the maze."
(A/N: Newt's A5 btw I think in case of confusion) says that middle age looking blond lady that keeps popping up in my memories.

A4? What does that mean? I walk around in my dream/memory looking for answers.

I find something.

There are some random documents on one of the computer screens.

Subject A0 'The Bone'
Subject A1 'The Betrayer'
Subject A2 'To be Killed by Group B'
Subject A3 'The Mindful'
Subject A4 'The Protective'
Subject A5 'The Glue'
Subject A6 'The Cook'
Subject A7 'The Leader'
Subject A8 'The Friendly'
Subject A9 'The Builder'

Huh?

I look around again and I see Nick, which makes me sadder of course.

But what makes me even sadder is that he's submerged in some sort of a blue liquid.

I see past me trying to run over, but Teresa tried to hold her down. She breaks out of the hold, but then Thomas holds her down with a slightly stronger grip.

They inject her with something, making her pass out, and then suddenly, Nick's puts his hands up against the container he's in.

Then it all goes black.

Then the light comes back

"Nick! Nick!!" I say, looking around for my surroundings.

I'm in the med bay.

"Nick" I whisper again, letting reality settle in.

I start crying quietly. Sorry for being such a cry baby, but I can't help it.

Gal comes running in, followed by Newt, Minho, and Chuck.

Also the med-jacks Clint and Jeff.

They're all trying to calm me down, which kind of works.

"Alright, alright. Personal space please" I say, motioning with my hands, which are bandaged.

I wipe off the silent tears.

"Are you ok Bells, I'm sorry about Nick" says Gally.

"Ya thanks, sorry for freaking out on you guys back there."

Then I chuckle. "You know I never realized why you started calling me that" I say, referring to him calling me Bells.

Gally shrugs, smiling. Then someone calls his name and he leaves.

"Hey where are Thomas and Teresa?" I ask once he's gone.

"Gally's appointed himself leader after Nick's death" says Minho.
