Always and Forever-SOOKAI

Soobin woke up to bright fluorescent lights clouding his vision. He squinted. His mom stood over his bed looking distraught.
"All the money we paid for him to go into boarding school and he does this? We're lucky we found him or all the money would go to waste."
He winced at her tone. She turned and noticed he was awake. "Oh. Your up. Thanks to you you missed your first day of school. We've decided we'll be sending you next week. The doctor said you need to heal. Ugh."
His dad moved over to him. "Son... you can't do things like that. Do you want all me and your moms money to go to waste just because of you?"
Soobin let the words sink in. They only cared about the money. Of course. When he realized he was in a hospital a glimmer of hope shone in his heart. The only people who could've brought him here were his parents. Did they finally care? Were they upset he almost died? But no. They were upset because of the money. Goddamn it!
"Y-you only cared about the money?" He mumbled.
His mom nodded furiously. "Yep. Why would we care about you?"

Someone knocked on the door. It was the doctor. He walked over to soobin with a smile. "Ah, Choi Soobin. You are awake! We were very worried. I'm Doctor Huening. I will be helping you heal."
Soobin nodded tiredly.
"Good good... now, my son has accompanied me to my job today as it is bring your son to work day. So he will be joining us if you don't mind?"
Soobin flashed a weak smile. "No, not at all. He can join..."
Doctor Huening smiled at him kindly. "Huening Kai! You may enter." Soobin watched as the boy walked in. He gasped. Standing there was the most beautiful human Soobin has ever seen. He had brown fluffy hair and his eyes were a chocolate brown. They melted as they met Soobins. His lips looked soft, and Soobin yearned to touch them. He was tall, and towered over his dad. He smiled and Soobin melted. He was so adorable. And his cheeks they looked so squishy and cute. He wanted to pinch them. His skin looked like it was glowing. "Hi! You must be Choi Soobin. I'm Huening Kai, but you can call me Kai. All my friends do!" He smiled his beautiful smile and Soobin's breath hitched. Kai's voice was as beautiful as he was.
"I- um.. hello. Nice to meet you Kai. And you can just call me Soobin." He stammered nervously. Kai laughed and it was the most amazing sound Soobin ever heard. He wanted to hear it again and again. The doctor clapped his hands together. "Alright! Mrs Choi and Mr Choi, could you please leave the room while I talk to Soobin? Thank you." He smiled warmly and they scowled. "Fine. Soobin you better not say anything you shouldn't!" She said in English. Unfortunately for her, the doctor and Kai both spoke fluent English. "He will tell me only what I ask." Doctor Huening said in English to Soobin's parents. They froze, but went outside anyway.
"Now... Soobin. What happened? Your parents brought you in with your wrists bleeding very very badly. You've lost more then a pint of blood which is not good for your age..."
The doctor said sympathetically. Soobin didn't want to answer in front of Kai. He didn't want Kai to be disappointed in him. "I-uh.. I fell. Yeah. I went for a stroll in the woods and I guess the branches cut me badly. My parents were with me so I was lucky..."
he gulped hoping his story was believable enough to fool them. Much to his relief the doctor let it slide looking like he believed it. "Ah, I see. How unfortunate. Soobin, this is a very personal question but... have your parents been, um, bothering you or hurting you in any way? You can tell me this is a safe zone. I won't tell anyone and if you want I can even ask Kai to leave."
Kai smiled at him. "Ya, soobin-ah. I will leave if you want me too. I respect your privacy."
Soobin's heart melted again. But he didn't want Kai to leave. He felt safe around him, some how.
He shook his head. "It's okay, Kai can stay."
Mustering up all his courage he winked at Kai, who then blushed and looked flustered. What has come over soobin? He's never ever winked at someone before. Especially someone he found attractive...
"Ahem.."
Dr. Huening fake coughed. It was Soobin's turn to blush now. "Right, sorry doctor... um. Yeah. About that question... they have mistreated me. They always yell at me... tell me much bad things about myself. It's hard."
His voice cracked and Kai looked at him sadly. He reached out and grabbed Soobin's hand. "It's okay. We'll help you." His eyes were full of care and affection. Soobin realized he was crying.
He told them everything, even Jangmi and how he got blamed for it all. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He felt... calm. Happy. After he was done Kai and the doctor were both shocked. "We're going to the police. You can't live like this. Your staying with us." Kai said furiously. The doctor nodded slowly. "We'll definitely have to go to the police... we need you to be safe. You are of course more then welcome at our home Soobin. If your willing to stay that is..?"
Soobin nodded.
"Yes please. That would be.. wonderful. Thank you so much. I- wow... no ones ever cared about me like this before since my sister..." he broke off, tears streaming down his face. Kai leaned in and for one second Soobin thought he was going to kiss him! But... no. He wrapped Soobin in a heartfelt crushing hug. Soobin immediately felt better, and they were hugging so tight you wouldn't be able to tell who's limbs were who's. Now, it was time to visit the police station.
