Later that night, Thomas decided to carry out the plan and talk to Teresa. I couldn't believe this was happening. We were finally going to meet the girl who betrayed us six months ago, interrogate her and hope that she'll cooperate. But I knew Teresa, she wouldn't give into our demands that easily. That's where Thomas will come in. She must still care for him, too deep down.

I knew that I shouldn't have come along, but my curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to know how Teresa would respond to him showing up suddenly. But what was that for? I had no idea. I guess the sooner I got to see her, the less angry I would be. It didn't make sense, but it made sense to me at that moment.

Gally, Thomas and I snuck in through the city again. But this time, Gally and I waited in the empty corridor. Thomas was going to lure Teresa back to us and that's when we would make a move. While we were waiting, I was thinking about her. I remembered when we worked with W.I.C.K.E.D. before we were sent into the Maze, how she seemed to get along with me perfectly. We were close friends before, but now that was gone, thanks to her.

"Thomas?"

I snapped out of it once I heard Teresa's voice echo in the hall. Her tone sounded shocked, confused, nostalgic. Her shoes were clicking against the floor as she ran in, frantically searching for Thomas. There she is. The Betrayer. Six months later and here she is. I had never imagined I would see her personally again. She still looked quite the same after a long period of time. I mean, other than her black midnight hair that turned into a beautiful brown, her reflective sapphire eyes were never forgetful.

Teresa spun around, trying to look for the person she thought she saw. She must've been thinking that this was all in her head. But Thomas stepped out of the shadows, quietly pulling his hoodie off. She knew he was standing there, she felt his presence. Teresa slowly turned around, her face contorting into surprise and hurt.

"Thomas," she said again, her voice shaking.

"Hey, Teresa," he replied in the same tone as her.
