『S.TENDOU』IT STARTED WITH A WHISPER

It's been a few weeks since I've started talking to Tendou and we quite often go on little study dates at the coffee shop. We're actually starting to get somewhere with finding out who his soulmate is.

As selfish as it sounds, I'm kind of hoping he won't be able to find them so I actually have a chance with him...

I can tell that Tendou is trying to pry my birthday out of Hiroko as I won't tell him. I don't feel the need to have him get me a present. Little does he know, my birthday is actually in four days.

I'm actually meeting him for coffee again today after school. Maybe I should try to go further with him than simple hand-holding and hugs...

I guess we will see.

As the school day finishes, I wait for him by the front door, having this little routine of walking him to practice and then meeting him back there once it's done.

He comes out of the doors, seeing me, and immediately giving me a hug. "I missed you~"

I laugh, "Satori, it's been less than 24 hours since you've seen me."

"That's too long~" he whines, dragging me to the gym. Once we reach the gym he smiles and kisses my forehead, "I better see you here when the practice is done. If I don't, I'll show up in your room again."

I pout, "okay, okay. I won't be late again. Now go to practice," I laugh, pushing him through the doors.

I still can't believe he found out which room is mine and just showed up that one night... god that man is something else. Just thinking of it makes me laugh.

I head back to my dorm, changing into some sweatpants and a t-shirt of the academy I cropped. I decide to work on my homework, setting an alarm so I can get back to the gym in time.

I get most of it done by the time my alarm goes off. I pack up my stuff quickly, putting on Tendou's jacket he lent me again, and going. I really have to start remembering to grab a jacket.

I walk over to the gym, getting there about 5 minutes early so I wait for him, watching the cloud pass by as I wait. I am snapped out of my gaze by Tendou wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. I look down, seeing his fingers still bandaged from practice and I smile softly. I don't know why, but I kinda like it when he has his fingers bandaged.

I smile softly and kiss the top of his head. "Well, we should get going, Satori."

He nods and lets go of me, grabbing my hands instead as we make our way to town. We order our usual drinks, sitting down at the corner booth as always.

We start out talking about his soulmate, trying to get some more clues. We don't get very far this time, so we just work on our schoolwork instead.

Suddenly, he puts his hand over my textbook so I look at him, "what's up?"

"Tell me your birthday," he pouts cutely. "I know it's this week, I just want to know the day. I promise I won't buy you anything."

I sigh softly, "alright, just because I feel bad. It's on Friday. But honestly, you don't need to help me find my soulmate. Helping you try to find yours has been enough for me," I smile, hoping he gets the message that I would rather be with him than my potential soulmate.

He pouts, "but why? You've been so sad lately about the whole soulmate thing. I want to help you because I want to see you all happy again. I haven't seen your beautiful smile as much lately."

He brushes my bangs out of my face, looking me in the eyes. God, those crimson eyes of his are absolutely stunning.

I just look down, "seriously, I'm okay not knowing who my soulmate is. I've found someone I care about more anyways.." I blush softly, knowing I've completely fallen for Tendou Satori after only knowing him for a couple of weeks.
