don't worry (mono x seven)

(Lets just say that what happened in the "in the depths" are basically the same and nothing had changed)

Seven had been captured by the janitor, he was out cold and was huddled in the cage, when he came to the janitor had opened his cage and grabbed him, but suddenly the janitor froze as he felt the cloth of Sevens jumper and seven froze, he decided it was best to not get caught and did his best to act limp and minimize his breathing making it was quiet as possible

You couldn't feel the pulse between his light blue jumper as the janitor dropped whatever he was doing and felt Sevens clothes to try to find a pulse and felt his hair as if to make sure he knew what he was feeling g in his hands "kid?" The janitor asked having finally identified him, it had tooken all of Sevens will power to not tense at that and stay limp, they just stayed theyre in complete silence and seven refused to open his eyes, but he soon broke when he felt something wet soak through his jumper as he looked up at the janitor

He could see the the tears stream down where the janitors eyes where suppose to be as he bit his lip in order to keep back his cries, he had lost his kid, well seven wasnt biologically his kid yeah, but he loved him like he was his son, he didn't have any plans to give seven or any of the other children up, he had tried to keep most children from becoming hollow shells, and when they didn't they would become rebellious and try to escape, which led them to die to the elements outside and or to get caught by the higher ups, but seven wasnt liek them, he was kind, caring and if he was right then seven had been able to make friends with he few gnomes

Now however he was gone, his kid ,was gone, and it was all his fault

Atleast, that's what he thought

"Roger?" Seven said, his voice hoarse after not talking to much, you can see the relief in rogers face as his shoulders slumped down "kid, don't scare me like that" he said higging seven to the best of his ability, they stayed like that for a second "wait, why where you out?" Roger asks turning to Seven who tensed up and looked down in shame "i...i wanted to escape, I wanted to save those other children" he said defeatedly "I know you said it was dangerous outside but I...i wanted to try, I wanted to escape and defeat the lady so you can all be free" he said and Roger stayed silent

"I'm sorry but if you put me back...I..  i would just find another way to escape, no matter what you d-do im gonna find a way to escape and-" he was cut off when roger covered his mouth with his finger "shhh child, i understand, i knew that at one point you would want to escape" he said defeatedly " and I know that I can't keep you here for forever, or else they might find you" Seven shuddered at the thought of the monsters Roger has told him that lurked beneath the maw

" i won't do anything....can't to anything to stop you so just.." Roger paused "be careful..." he said defeatedly as he put seven down and seven nodded "i promise" seven said both happy and scared that he was able to get through Roger and try to escape but was also scared as to what he might encounter

And so it happened...

Roger couldn't sneak seven past the people in the maw as he hid seven in one of the sacks where he kept the dead children and sent him off

It hurt to see his son go but... he knew he needed to do it...

He had faith in seven

Seven however, didnt have faith in himself

He had been carried for abit as he stayed there in complete darkness,he thought nothing could get any worse, until he heard something tear and the cloth beneath him gave way, yep, this is so much worse

He dangled there panicking as he gripped onto cloth before one final tear before the cloth gave way and he fell into the dark abyss, he felt himself land on a pipe as he tried to grab it and pull himself up, but it was to slippery as he slipped off and continued to fall, his back collided with wooden boards as he felt the air get knocked out of him and he collided on a pack of coals
