"TO ME, POTTER."
There was a group of adults standing in front of them. Death Eaters. The one in the front, a man with long blonde hair was holding his hand out to Harry. Eloise stared at him. He reminded her of someone.
"To me." said the man yet again.
There was silence for a moment. Eloise wasn't thinking as she pointed her wand at the blonde man.
"Who the fuck is that?" She whispered to Ron.
"Malfoy's dad." Ron whispered back, not taking his eyes off the Death Eaters. Eloise's stomach dropped.
"Where's Sirius?" Harry said.
Several of the Death Eaters laughed; a harsh female voice from the midst of the shadowy figures to said triumphantly, "The Dark Lord always knows!"
"Always," echoed Malfoy softly. "Now, give me the prophecy, Potter."
"I want to know where Sirius is!" Said Harry. "You've got him. He's here. I know he is."
"The little baby woke up fwightened and fort what it dweamed was twoo." said the woman in a horrible, mock baby voice. Eloise took a step forward, closer to Harry.
"Don't do anything," Harry muttered. "Not yet-"
The woman who had mimicked him let out a raucous scream of laughter.
"You hear him?" She screeched. "You hear him? Giving instructions to the other children as though he thinks of fighting us!"
Eloise took another step forward, seething. She was standing next to Harry now.
"And who might you be?" Malfoy said, eyeing her.
"None of ya business who I am." Eloise growled.
Malfoy's eyebrows rose in surprise at the sound of her voice, more notably her Brooklyn accent. Then, he smirked.
"Eloise Bennet." He said. "The American. I should have known. Draco talks about you often. I see you got yourself in with the wrong crowd."
"Trust me blondie," She said. "I'm in the right crowd."
"Pity," Malfoy said. "I had told Draco at the beginning of the year to befriend you. You come from two major pureblood families my dear, it would have been a shame if it went to waste. My son had told me he was making progress with you."
"Yeah well," Eloise sniffed. "Your son is a little bitch. I kicked his ass a few hours ago."
Malfoy's eye twitched. A few of the other Death eaters looked like they weren't sure if they should laugh or not. But for some reason, Malfoy didn't do anything to her. He seemed to tell himself to hold off on her. He turned back to Harry.
